“Overall, it was exactly what I would have expected from an economy level hotel. I was a little put off by the fact that their documentation said that they had basic cable channels, when in fact they only had channel 2. I was looking forward to watching ESPN like in any other hotel, so that was the most disappointing part of my stay.”

“The directions to the hotel were adequate. Location was clean & appeared safe/secure. I arrived for a late a check in 10pm. The main entrance to the front desk was locked & I had to use the hotel phone to contact the staff. The phone however does not contact the staff directly instead it was forwarded to an answering service which in turn called the attendant on duty ( I guess by their cell phone?). I was told the person would be there in 10 15 minutes. That, to me, is a joke. Typically for late arrivals, the attendant is buzzed or contacted directly & can answer the door almost immediately which allows u to check in & get to bed soon. Well I proceeded to wait another 20 minutes & called the phone at main entrance again to explain no one had showed up. They again said they would call & to wait another 10 minutes or so! I took a chance, by tapping on the front door window when I saw a person in the lobby and asked if they worked there. He did & proceeded to let me in. I gave him my name & he found my reservation & checked me in. While going thru this process I asked why it was taking so long to have someone attend the front desk. He explained that he never received a call & held his cell phone up (I guess to show me that he had it on his person?). This whole delayed process (over 40 minutes since my arrival) soured my experience using this hotel. I do not like their late check in procedure at all.”

“This hotel was located out of my way, making the trip to my business meeting inconvenient. The room smelled of stale tobacco (although it was supposed to be non-smoking), the sheets were filthy, the floor was unkempt, and hair from the previous occupant was on the tub, the toilet, the kitchen table, the bed, the phone, everywhere.”

“Although we were unable to get a room with two beds, which was needed. The room and hotel itself were fairly nice. Breakfast was only good Mon-Fri, so that was unfortunate on the weekends.”

“Personnel were really friendly when I arrived. Then came check out and made sure we knew check out was at 11:00 am which they failed to mention in the beginning. #1 says when check out is. #2 don't make anyone feel unwelcome. #3 don't knock on their door to "kick them out." #4 your check out time should be a reasonable 12:00 or 1:00pm.”
