• Has an old mildew smell coming from the carpet.

• I was able to walk out of the door.
• Nasty, dirty, mold covered bathroom door, carpet was sticky, many cig burns in bathroom, bed was 20 years old, stunk, wall paper was yellowed, blanket.

“The bathroom tub was lined with cig burns and it smelled so very bad. The bed mattress was at least 20 years old, crunched every time you would move and had a blanket that felt like sand paper. It was disgusting and the people working the counter were rude and asked me for an extra 15.00 dollars a night to have two beds. Which I've never been asked to do before. I am very upset about this stay with my family.”

• Small, easy access in and out to car and close to good restaurants and stores.
• Needs a refrigerator in room.

• Close to freeway access.
• Hidden, hard to find. Not very clean. Lousy towels, bathrooms.

“Recommended to construction workers on extended projects. Not a clean, comfortable place. Just basic shelter, as far as I am concerned.”

• It was close to where we had to be.
• There was hair in bed under the sheets that was not mine.

“A bit dirty (there was someone's hair in out bed that didn't belong to us, and empty water bottles, and a lighter under the bed), things under the bed, and couldn't smoke, the free breakfast was only donuts and bananas, which was a bit disappointing.”

• It was close to Irvine meadows where we went to see a concert.
• The room could have been cleaner.

“Overall, if I were to see another show at Irvine meadows, I might stay there again simply because of the cost and location. But I'd look elsewhere for a hotel for anything else. The room smelled heavily of smoke and there were used towels in one of the drawers *used for things other than drying off in the shower or pool*.”

• I appreciated the way the staff respect every customer.
• This hotel has not restaurant that could help those guests who do not yet master the area.

• Good price, clean installations. You would expect less for that price.
• Bathroom was a bit small. But that's average for a 2 star hotel.

“I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Our room was good sized and clean and the staff was adequate.”

• The hotel was good. The rooms were comfortable enough to stay in for a short stay.
• Our shower head looked like it was falling apart.

“If you need a cheap hotel in the O.C., this one isn't bad. Right off the highway. Not the cleanest place but not dirty either. It was too cool to swim, but the pool and the overall grounds of the hotel looked clean. Complimentary breakfast is standard donuts, fruit, coffee, and juice but everything was fresh. I probably will stay there again.”

• I have stayed here before and they have made some good improvements. I would stay here again.
• The breakfast is not really much.

“This is my 4th stay at this hotel. It went down hill from my first visit, but was much better this time. Will stay here again.”

• Easy access to the freeway, 15 minutes from beach and near by attractions.
• Older facility smells kind of musty and beds are old.

• Pretty good price fro orange county California, was located near the hospital we were going to.
• We asked for a smoking room, but it was a pretty smelly room. Went out and bought air freshener to spray around the room.

“Only one single serving of coffee for the provided pot. Asked for additional pillows (2) front desk only had one. Was ok for the price, if you need additional pillows bring your own. Good location in Orange County California.”

• Hard bed and no one would give me pillows.

“It was ok, but I wouldn't go back. Staff was not that helpful. I needed some pillows to put over a hard bed, and asked for several long one to lie on but only was given one short one.”

• Very quiet and safe.
• Better security for automobile.

“This place is quiet and comfortable. The staff is very nice and quick. Located right next to a bigger hotel that offers the same rooms for almost 1/2 of the price more.”

• Management tried to comply with requests.
• 1-Slight language barrier - Asian management, 2- didn't provide non-smoking room with 2 beds as requested, had to be moved to a smoking room with 2 beds.

• I have stayed at this hotel several years ago. It convenient to the conference we attended.
• The room was a little small for two people but not that bag.

• Good location.
• Not safe.

“It is not safe place to stay. We left a backpack on the hotel's parking lot and it was taken by somebody and we never got it back. This is our first experience of loosing something in a hotel. Our family takes vacation every year and sometimes we left some things in hotels and always got them back. Also, this hotel is supposed to provide continental breakfast every morning from 7:00 to 9:00 am but one morning before 9:00 am they run out of orange juice and refused to provide more, which made an old lady very upset because all she wanted was the orange juice.”
