• Security was always present; very clean place.
• Elevator seemed slow and out of date.

“This was a very clean and organized hotel. Staff was polite and helpful. I would consider staying here again.”

• The restaurant had good food and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.
• The pool could have been cleaner.

• It was comfortable.
• Not as nice as the last time and further away then I liked.

• Hotel had plenty of parking.
• The hallways and rooms smelled a very old moldy smell.

“The hotel is extremely old and there is a horrible moldy smell in rooms and hallways. The carpet is very old too and it looks very dirty. The beds looked so old and with a deep. This hotel needs and urgent make up. I will not go back to this hotel.”

“The outside and lobby were beautiful but the hotel rooms needed up-dating. The wall s were really thin, you could hear through them easily, our room was dark, old decorations, cheap towels, it just felt like a cheap hotel and it was a Holiday Inn. Staff was very helpful. Rooms appeared clean. Would not stay there again.”

• Staff was friendly and took pride in their work. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.
• Restaurant lacking. Ordered from menu and food delivered did not contain items listed on menu. Server did give 20 pct discount on meal.

“Hotel was clean, comfortable and friendly. Since I was in the area to visit family I could not ask for more. Only downside was the restaurant. Food ordered was not what was delivered, however, server did give 20 pct discount due to their mistake. Would stay there again only would not eat in the restaurant.”

• Close to hwy, helpful staff, comfortable room.
• Room wasn't clean when I checked in.

“I would stay again. Even though the room needed cleaning when I checked in, they were there in less than 5 minutes to take care of the problem.”

• For a Holiday Inn, this was a very nice stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Very comfy bed and pillows.
• The common areas were looking a bit shabby and aged. But clean.

“We've stayed at a few Holiday Inns in the past few weeks. Of all the ones we've stayed in, this was definitely the nicest. The restaurant was mediocre at best, but the hotel's centralized location made it convenient to find food elsewhere.”

• Quiet, nice pool area, several access points to hotel (for luggage).
• Did not have a room with Queen or King for us--we had to use separate beds. ;-(.

“Quiet and comfortable. Quality restaurants close by (even on-site). 20 minutes from beach (Monarch). Freeway adjacent for convenience, but no noise intrusion.”

• Staff was very helpful, accommodating, and friendly.
• A problem with hot water due to faulty valve caused a minor problem. Staff was willing to change the room, but I declined.

• Beds need new mattresses- felt almost worn out.

“We were very pleased with how quiet our room was. Very clean too. The staff was helpful and courteous. Our stay could only have been better if free breakfast had been included in our rate or if we got a kitchenette to eat from.”

• It is an absolute mess, needs to be completely renovated!

• Fast check in.
• They charged me for bottled water I did not drink.

“Good location. Not as noisy as I thought it would be as it is right next to the freeway. Room was clean though it is an older hotel so expect wear and tear. Check in was easy and painless but beware that if you drink bottled water and throw your empty bottle in the garbage housekeeping will automatically assume you drank their water (even though they don't replace any in the room) and you will be charged for water. It's happen to us with this chain twice now, so I'd recommend asking them to remove any bottled water in the room before you check in so you won't get billed for it mistakenly.”
