• Self parking is a long walk.

• The upscale atmosphere and comfortable beds.
• Needs down comforter on beds.

“The Hyatt is my favorite hotel to stay at when I'm in Orange County. I would recommend it to others. It's clean, upscale, with nice amenities. The workout room is great! How about evening bed turndown with a chocolate on the pillow? Wish I could have stayed longer!”

• The room was very comfortable.

“Well, some issues. First room given had maintenance equipment in it and the second room was dirty! Hard to believe. No immediate restitution, but did sent two breakfast coupons to the room, should have done that at the desk when they screwed up my rooms!”

• Free bikes, tennis courts, gym, and location.
• Pay for parking.

“This hotel provides many great amenities. Ride the bikes down the bike trail to Newport beach; it is so beautiful, play tennis, basketball or goes to the gym. Make full use of this nice hotel.”

• Location close to Univ of CA Irvine, excellent service, very comfortable beds, ipod player in room.
• Parking - very narrow spots and definitely too few spots. Not a big the A/C went on and off every few seconds. It did not have the range setting.

“Hotel was very convenient for us as it is close to Univ of California Irvine. The room was very good and the bed extremely comfortable. Every staff member we encountered excelled in quality service.”

• Centrally located, easy to find and close to the freeway.
• Sorry, I can't think of anything.

“Weather you're a business traveler or a Soccer family like mine, this hotel has it all. My kids loved the pool and the basketball court and I really enjoyed taking out one of the bicycles available to hotel guests.”

• Area was good for our needs to meet family and friends for birthday party/magnifying mirror in bathroom.
• Bathroom lighting was not bright enough.

• Very friendly staff.
• Small cramped bathroom, bland dcor.

“Very friendly staff. Lobby etc was very nice but the room really could have been any hotel room anywhere. Nothing special. Certainly not 4 star as I expected but still a good value although I was a little disappointed as I was planning a romantic getaway with my spouse.”

• Location was great.
• Told them we had young kids, they should have given us room so that next door neighbors don't get disturbed.

“Location was great, the rooms were nice, but the extra blankets were very old and not very clean. The bathroom door won't shut properly.”

• The staff was very pleasant.
• The self parking lot spaces were too small and often nearly full so it was sometimes tough to find a space.

“We stayed in a good basic room, clean good quality bed, furniture, bathroom fixtures. It was quiet. The property was well maintained. I used the gym in the morning a little small as all of the aerobic machines were in use when I first arrived. And the weight machines were limited and not current state of the art (but decent.) I didn't get to the pool. The on-site restaurant and bar got good reviews from Yelp etc. We only ate a basic breakfast in the take out area which was good. The location is good, close to Orange County airport, Irvine 405 corridor businesses etc. They have a lot of competition, but it is in the top tier of hotels in that market (for service and quality of the rooms / the rest of the hotel).”

• The efficiency of the staff.
• The exit from the parking lot is confusing.

“The hotel is elegant and comfortable and the staff is excellent. They handled all of our requests quickly and were very friendly. Although it seems like a hotel that is focused on business travelers, they made my 4 year old feel welcome and comfortable. I would love to stay there again.”

• Comfortable beds, clean quiet rooms, good location.
• Charging parking. OK to charge parking to people attending meetings there but why guests? No disabled parking. Overstuffed refrigerator with liquor.

“The so-called view of the pool was actually a view of a roof undergoing construction from our 3rd floor room. Check-in was fast and efficient. Parking attendant was extremely courteous even though we didn't have the proper "stamp" on our card. That would have been a long walk back to the hotel desk and I'm disabled. Hotel staff very accommodating especially when wrongly charged for liquor that was not used. Very little waiting for elevators. Would not call this a "resort" hotel, but more for business people.”

• It was peaceful and restful.
• Cost of parking, the daily rate should include carwash.

“Except for the predatory parking which is true in almost all hotels it was a great place to stay. I just hate being taken advantage of by the parking situation.”
