“The hotel was great! Very clean, family friendly yet business orientated as well. They need to fix the elevator on the 7th floor though! It was broken and the doors were banging together in the middle of the night! Very loud and hard to sleep! Beds are wonderful and rooms were spacious.”

“This hotel is very close to the John Wayne Airport, yet it is very quiet and comfortable. The staff was excellent and we would definitely stay here again.”

“Great location, comfy beds, love having a Starbuck's in the lobby. The only problem was the parking lot was full and it seemed the valet parking was full. Also, the wine was way overpriced. A bottle of California Chardonnay that runs around $20 something a bottle was $75. You expect to pay more at the hotel bar, but that was overdone.”

“The Irvine Marriott is a perfect hotel for the business traveler. Everything necessary to stay in touch is provided in a comfortable atmosphere - especially the in-house Kinko's and Starbucks. Rooms were quiet despite the conferences going on and the close proximity to the airport. A very secure place for the solo female traveler, with world-class shopping at South Coast Plaza just minutes away!”

“The room was below par and certainly not to 4 stars standards. The bedspread and sheets were stained, bathroom dirty and I had the displeasure of finding a number of "gummy candies" under and around my bed! The parking was terrible. When I pulled in at around 1 am there was a line up of about 6 cars that had just been left standing for valet. After weaving through I waited for an extended period of time and saw no one. I finally pulled into the "self park" lot only to exit again when I found there was nothing remotely close to the lobby and did not want to drag my bags around. When I returned to the valet I again had to wait an unreasonable amount of time. I finally unloaded my car and stood around at the Vale Kiosk. When the valet guy finally returned and took my car he was less than apologetic saying that they were under staffed and he was the only one there. The check in was smooth and the receptionist nice. When I explained my disappointment with he valet she apologized and credited by account for the valet for the night. Which was nice, but also appropriate based on the service. Unless I had a conference or something in the immediate area I would not stay at this location again.”

“It was clean and in a safe area. But I wouldn't make a point to stay here again. I was supposed to get two queen size beds. Ended up with one king. A dance company was there so they took up all the accommodations.”

“If you are a business traveler simply looking for a good night's sleep this is your place. If you are looking for a nice getaway with your spouse this is not the place. No amenities, the restaurants aren't even open. Sometimes, no spa on site, very small rooms, can hardly open the bathroom door without hitting the toilet! No luxury, very little to offer and poorly staffed (apart from the excellent valet service).”
