“The coffee was not replenished in my room. Coffee was not available in the lobby unless you paid 12.00 for the breakfast.”

• The Cookies.
• Attitude of staff upon check in.

“Made request for King smoking room with hotel prior to arrival. Was told that our request would be granted. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were not able to get the room type that we requested. The employee on duty stated that it was based upon availability and was curt. In addition, no one told us about all of the construction around the hotel. The food at the restaurant tasted old.”

• Free shuttle to the hotel and it was nice and clean
• Nothing really I liked it.

“It was a great hotel to stay at by the Orange County John Wayne Airport. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice. I would stay there again. Thanks.”

• Quiet, tranquil surroundings, great location, wonderful bed.
• Room smelled musty/mildew and there was no room service.

“For a quick getaway from the kids, this hotel served its purpose. I needed a quiet respite from my everyday hectic life and I found it at the Doubletree Club. The Sweet Dreams bed lived up to its name and the furnishings were modern, comfortable and seemingly just redone. I would stay here again given the chance.”

• Large relaxing duck pond beside hotel.
• There is a lot of construction in the area.

• I enjoyed the pleasant customer service at the front desk.
• The reconstruction going on across the street in the am woke us up. Not the hotels fault.

“This hotel is tucked away close to the John Wayne Airport. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from as well as shopping malls close by. The freeways are very close as well. The room was very plush and comfortable. The room was clean and well presented. I would recommend this room to my family and friends.”

• The yummy cookies at check-in!
• Our room only had double beds and they did not have rollways for our kids.

“Liked the pool and hot tub. Room was clean. Liked the duck pond outside hotel.”

• Front desk service was very good.
• They had rented out the restaurant for the weekend to different groups. Load music until 1:00 AM and could not have dinner in the restaurant.

• Very pleasant staff, upon arrival fresh baked cookies that were individually wrapped were given to each person in the room.
• Nothing.

“I would defiantly stay in this hotel again. We were very surprised and pleased with the room.”

• The bed was awesome and super comfortable and the fresh baked cookies were a great surprise!
• Liked everything.

“Great, highly recommend. Very cozy, clean and comfortable and quiet! The fresh baked warm cookies that they give you at check in was a great touch and very appreciated!”

• The bed was comfortable.
• College party with loud music in room open to adjoining lobby.

“Overall our stay was nice. The lobby was unimpressive, and due to construction it was difficult to find the entrance to the parking lot. But the room was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.”

• They give you fresh hot cookies at check in, nice touch.
• Getting to the hotel was interesting, but not too bad. Just more thinking than we wanted to do at 2 am!
