“Older hotel, but very well maintained. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. Even though we were in sports attire, coming straight from a soccer tournament, we felt as though we were honored guests in this upscale hotel! Very comfortable, relaxing atmosphere with lots of lounging spaces with firepits for guests to congregate with some sort of intimacy. We had the kids, so we were not able to enjoy that part, but it sure looked fun!”

“A mistake was made on the part of the hotel staff, and half hearted attempts were made by the manager to correct them. Our card was actually charged (instead of being held for incidentals) and we were actually unable to take our children to Disneyland on the day we had planned due to funds being tied up by the hotel. The manager was very condescending and didn't understand why it was a big deal and felt sorry for me.”

“When we checked in we paid for an upgraded room to insure an ocean view with a king bed. We were given a room with 2 queens, told to call the desk. Called desk, waited 20-30 minutes in room, called a 2nd time before someone brought a key to another room. 2nd room overlooked the roof and air-conditioning units. Called again and went to desk instead of waiting another 30 min. We offered to pay again and were offered a suite - had a king bed and a pleasant view. The mini refrigerator was in the bedroom instead of the suite area and there was old food left from the previous guests. There was no trash can in the suite area. The safe was on the bottom shelf of the bureau so you had to get on the floor to open it. The music channel was offered for a fee but unavailable. The tech said it had not been hooked up for 3 years. The TV check out did not work. In our experience the hotel did not live up to the rating of a 4 star. When you arrive at a hotel you are usually anxious to settle in. We were tired, warm and had to go to the bathroom. Our issues may seem small but 3 rooms later, we were irritable and disappointed. We were always patient and polite and the staff was in turn.”

“This hotel was very nice, a lot of area to relax and enjoy. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The lounge was upbeat and had a variety of drink and food options. Close to shopping, dining and the beach!”

“The hotel is clean, staff is friendly and helpful, they help with bags and don't accept tips, there's a rental car service on site to assist with your needs for travel. It's a beautiful location, overlooking a golf course and the ocean.”
