• The room was immaculate & well lay out. Very comfortable & homey.
• It was located in like a factory/warehouse neighborhood. Quiet though.

“Absolutely wonderful. We got there early but the desk clerk was very friendly & let us checks in without any hassles. It's plenty close enough to Disneyland w/that freeway right there & just an hour away from Hollywood. The room had a pull-out couch we could use for our young son & didn't have to pay an upgrade fee. Would definitely recommend this for anyone staying for a business trip or vacationing for a week. There was a full kitchen, very comfortable room.”

• The front desk staff was superior. They had preprinted directions to Starbucks.
• I can't think of anything.

“The room was spacious and well-appointed. It was clean and the fixtures were up to date. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful without being too chummy. We had a great stay.”

• It was very clean, had everything we needed, and had a great breakfast buffet.
• We had trouble figuring out the AC/Heater, but we did not ask for help.

“The hotel had an apartment feel. We had a whole kitchen and a pull out couch for our son. It was quiet and very clean. Most of the staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was great and we enjoyed the basketball court also.”

• I liked that it had full breakfast with hot foods. I liked it had home like amenities like dishes and glasses and pots and pans.
• I cannot think of any.

“I was truly impressed with the hotel. It may lack luxury of a 5 star hotel but with a fireplace in every room and home like amenities, one can travel economically by purchasing basic groceries and cooking on your own instead of eating out. Fireplace could give a touch of romance in the hotel but I think if you really want a romance, you have to go somewhere like Hawaii or Gulf coasts of Florida with the white sand beaches and uncrowned settings and not in Placentia. One could probably do it...if budget does not allow it.”

• I loved the setup of the room-the kitchenette.
• Toilet did not flush well.

“We loved this hotel. The room was nice and cozy- kitchenette was a great feature, even though we didn't use it. Breakfast in the morning was very good too. Staff was very friendly. We would definitely stay again.”

• Staff 5 star, room 4 star (one roach in the room) great other wise.
• Roach in the room.

“My husband had a business dinner at Coyote Golf Course; we stayed one night at the hotel and were very impressed. We will be staying at the Residents Inn for our future business and vacation trips.”

• The bed was horrible, left with a major back ache!

• I enjoyed the apartment like atmosphere, and it was a very quiet location.
• There was nothing I found to dislike!

“The front desk staffs were very friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located near the 57 in south Placentia, on a quiet, private Cul De Sac. I felt I was visiting a nice apartment complex. With complimentary breakfast buffet, it had better than all the conveniences of home!”

• The bed was wonderful- we haven't slept that well ever!
• 2 beds would be better instead of sofa bed.

“This was a great stay. We are a family of 5 and this room fit us well. I loved having a kitchen so we could save money while vacationing. It wasn't close to Disneyland, but not too far either. The breakfast & dinners were OK, not fantastic, but it was nice to have it available. The room was clean and inviting. We loved the bed - it was very comfortable and we haven't slept that well in a long time. Just wish we could have found out what brand it was; it didn't say!”

• Spacious room and small kitchen.
• Insufficient parking.

“Good location 1 block away from the freeway, but not too noisy. Clean & spacious room, good bed & pillows, DSL service standard in every room. Small outdoor common area and indoor breakfast room, so this is not an ideal hotel if you like to hang out. But it's a convenient place to come back to at the end of the day if you want to relax in your room and eat in.”

• Seating in breakfast area limited and crowded at times.

“I read the reviews of this hotel and my expectations were high. I was not disappointed. We are a family of 5 and spent a week enjoying the so-cal features. We spent our first 2 nights at a hotel near Disneyland and our last 3 at this hotel. It was not a big deal to drive to the parks to have the luxury of this hotel. It is about 2 blocks from a freeway entrance, and about 10 minutes from Disneyland and Knotts. The staff was very helpful. The rooms are large and the kitchen well equipped, including cookware and a dishwasher. The breakfast is worth at least $5 per person. There was even a slight variation day to day. We are going to try to book a room at this hotel on all of our future L.A. vacations.”

• Desk staff, severing staff friendly. Pet friendly.
• Outside facility could use paint.

“Location easy access to freeway. Outside of facility could use little paint. But the room was very comfortable. Always look to stay with residence inn as there is pet friendly and rooms are always very nice. Stay at this location minimum 3 times per year for the past 10 years.”

• The comfort of the bed was tremendous, the extra pillows, the cleanliness.
• Breakfast area was too crowded on Sunday morning at 8 am. More tables needed.

• It was very roomy and comfortable,like a condominium. It also had a kitchen which impressed me.
• I liked everything about it.

• The room was like an apartment felt at home!
• Not very attractive from the outside, rather blah.

“The Residence Inn in Placenta far exceeded my expectations. In fact, I didn't want to leave! I wish I could rent an apartment like this room close to work so I wouldn't have to drive every day. The room was clean, luxurious, high quality, very nice. The bed was a bit soft for my taste, but everything else was wonderful. I was really surprised because from the outside the hotel isn't that impressive. I'd stay here again and again!”

• Plug in bathtub did not work.

• I was very impressed with the value of the room for the price.

“We had plans to spend the weekend in Disneyland. The location of the hotel was perfect. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I wasn't expecting to stay in a suite so I was quite surprised to have such a nice room. It was worth every penny.”
