• Location.
• Hotel appears old; likely needs a remodel job.

• Great hotel with updated amenities and beautiful pool. Staff was friendly.
• Bathroom toilet took a long time to fill the water tank after each flush.

“This is an excellent hotel for the price I paid on Priceline. Room was very clean and had updated furnishings such as flat screen TV. I loved the Heavenly pillows and the mattress gave me a good night sleep. The outdoor pool has a garden and waterfall next to it which is a very nice touch. The only issue was the bathroom toilet took a long time to fill up after each flush.”

• The wonderful pillow top bed and lovely linens. I liked the TV station that showed nature scenes. Good room service.
• The cost of the parking $28 per day.

“My stay couldn't have been nicer. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, lovely room. Comfortable bed. Flat screen TV was very nice!”

• Very attractive common areas. Beautiful fresh flowers in lobby.
• Even after I called, they failed to restock our coffee packets. No coffee the 2nd day!

“Very pretty hotel. I bit of a walk to the car if you self park. Very pretty common areas and water feature. Very helpful front desk and doormen. Very polite and helpful.”

• It was amazing. Fell in
  love with the pool area!
• There was nothing bad to say. Except for having to pay for parking. $20 a night.

“Loved it! Would totally recommend someone to stay. Super clean, relaxing, breath taking view of pool area. Super nice staff!”

“This was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at! It was always clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds and great location. The only complaint I would have is that we didn't get to stay long enough!”

• Great location and well maintained condition.

“Wonderful hotel, best location in OC, near beaches, shopping, performing Art Center. One of those few hotels which allow walking to many attractions! Parking fee was a bit steep though, and parking structure is not directly connected with hotel building.”

• Upscale.
• Boring.

“The room was nice and newly upgraded with plush beds and linens and granite in the bathroom sit, overlooked the city but was very noisy. There were no restaurants in the building and it felt like you walked in the front door followed a narrow hallway to the elevator that lead to your room- wouldn't stay there again, was not 4 star.”

• The front desk staff was not warm at all when checking in.

“Some of the staff give an impression of arrogance, mainly the front desk. If class and professionalism is what they are trying to achieve, they may want to reconsider how to go about it. Overall I enjoyed my stay.”

• The beds were great and the location was perfect for where I needed to be.
• The room was small and the cost of parking was huge.

• The room was very nice.

“I would recommend the hotel to every body I know! The staff was helpful over and above excepted. The room was very nice. I had a pool view from the 10th floor, the lights at night were beautiful. The bar area was a great place for my business meetings. In two words 'Fantastic Place'.”

• I enjoyed the dishes that were available to me in the bar even though I arrived too late to eat in the restaurant.
• I had to request a robe, shampoo, and a key for the refreshments.

• Nice bedding.
• Wasn't told up front it is $18 to self-park, $25 for valet parking.

“Attractive, clean, large room with tons of down pillows and large screen TV. Easy to find, and freeway close. Nice pool and pretty waterfall. Wasn't prepared for $18 per night self-parking and $25 per night valet parking. Valet parking was worth the extra $7.00.”

• The beds were very comfortable and very friendly staff.
• As with others, I did not appreciate the parking fee.

“The rooms were well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. However, it would seem that such a nice establishment would have a few more amenities that were free. Coffee in the lobby, room internet, etc. Beware of parking overnight at South Coast Plaza. The first night you will receive a warning citation, a second night in their lot could result in your car being towed. I happened to observe citations on the windshield of several cars in the Plaza parking lot as I took an early morning walk during our stay at the Westin, and decided it was better to pay at the Westin than chance having my car towed.”
