• Good location, restaurant had good breakfast.
• Run down, lack of security, lack of easy communication.

“Room was worn and old looking. No elevator and no help with luggage. The topper was when we returned from dinner, the door to our room was wide open. Thank goodness nothing was taken, but someone had accessed the room, and left the door fully open. They gave us a comp night, but it wasn't worth it. Very difficult to communicate with the staff. Would never stay there again.”

• They charged me a resort fee of $2.95 , explain that to me? Totally unexpected fees.

“I was not impressed with this hotel. I've stayed at several hotels and this was the first time I was charged a resort fee in addition to the fees I paid online.”

“VERY bad communication between hotel staff. They didn't seem to realize that the room was paid for - even if we arrived late. Then, after we paid for a 2nd night, they came into the room and moved our belongings out while we were away (in the morning after the first night there)”

• The location to Disneyland was great. Easy to walk or drive. Excellent staff.
• The room size was o.k. for just my husband and I for 1 night, but would have gone a bit crazy if the kids were along.

“Over-all it was clean enough and a good location. Good for the price we paid.”

• The only positive thing was that it had cable TV
• This place was a dump. It was obvious that they do not clean much.

“This place was very dirty. The sheets and pillowcases were wrinkled, dirty, had hair, as if they had been slept on multiple times already. The walls are thin and noises from neighbors can be easily heard. I DO NOT recommend this place at all.”

• It had a funny smell in our room shower wasn't clean

“Hotel was a short walk to Disney which was great! For that reason alone I would stay again. The room was a smoking room which was not so nice but it also had a "fecal matter" smell to it. and I'm not kidding! The hotel was bokked up by the time we arrived so we couldn't change rooms and the phone didn't work at all (room104)The paint was coming of the bottom of the shower and looked realy old and worn BUT we did get a good rate and overall all I think it was good. ”

“Jolly Rodger should be a one star hotel. There are no amenities, and not even a tub. The staff doesn't speak English. It was not a quality hotel at all.”

“The location of the Jolly Roger is very good if you are going to the Disney parks or the convention center. The condition of the rooms, however, was poor and definitely not as nice as other 2 or 2 1/2 star hotels I have stayed in. Some of the wallpaper was peeling, there was no tub and the shower floor was painted and peeling. The staff was friendly but difficult to understand at times. We would not stay at the Jolly Roger again.”

“This is not the Jolly Roger I remember from my childhood. Yes, the pool is still in the parking lot, but it is so beautifully landscaped you feel you are at an intimate resort. The rooms were older, but very clean and at the expected level of size for a 2 1/2 star rating. The staff was VERY helpful and welcoming. The onsite restaurant was no 4 star, but was certainly well priced and tasty.”
