• Staff and continental breakfast was good and plenty available.
• Very difficult to pull out thru the one sole entrance/exit.

“Very close drive to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and stores. Fast friendly service. Busy area and only one entrance/exit made it hard to pull out left and even right at times, but we managed. Continental breakfast was good and plenty for all.”

• Good location for getting to several beaches.
• The smell of stale cigarette smoke.

“Hotel was clean. Desk Staff not overly helpful. Good location for getting to the beach and even though it's fairly close to the freeway it wasn't noisy.”

• Very close to the beach.
• Where is the FOX news channel?

“They had very good service, especially, the lady at front desk. The prices were very reasonable. The room was very nice, beds comfortable and the free breakfast was great. However, I thought it was very strange they had all the CNN news channels but they censored out FOX news. Anyway, the place was great.”

• Clean, neat, service was good.
• Continental breakfast was just average or a little below average, they could pump it up!

• The internet didn't work. It was a little short on Maintenance.

• I liked that you had a coffee maker in the room.
• The girl at check in was not friendly. I like a nice greeting and smile when I check into a hotel.

“The room was adequate, and clean. The air conditioner worked well. The bed was comfortable. The only thing I did not like was the shower. The hot water would turn real hot, and then when I would try to cool it down, it would get too cold. The shower head could not be pulled out even though it was a massage type of shower head.”

• The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was helpful for recommendations on dining.
• Noisy location with a lot of weekend partiers.

“Ramada limited Costa Mesa has an easy to find location which is also very noisy. My room was very clean and large. Nice adjustable shower head in bath. Bed was comfortable. All lights and heater/air conditioner worked. Staff was helpful. There is a pool and Jacuzzi available many hours and both were clean. Breakfast is basic but also with many choices such as waffles, muffins, cereals, yogurt and fruit. There was plenty available for all guests. There is a weekend influx of young partiers so the noise level increased but I was not disturbed from sleep.”

• Location; consideration and helpfulness of the staff; responded quickly to address an ant problem.
• We stayed in two different rooms and one of the rooms had a slight ant problem.

• Some employees have trouble understanding what we need when asked.

• Very clean and nice amenities in room¿s very nice appearance inside and outside.
• It located at a very bad traffic intersection getting out of the parking area in the am is difficult.

• The hard beds and the extra cost of the rollaway that sunk.

“Was just like any other motel. I did see a lot of pets around. The beds were hard and I had to pay $10 for an extremely saggy roll away. The free breakfast offered a wide variety of good food.”

“I didn't get a chance to check out the area, which would have been nice, but this hotel is in a very pleasant location convenient to the 55 Hwy and surrounded by shopping and places to eat... from fast food to quality restaurants.”

“I thought the motel was fine for our needs, roomy, nice and clean, and looked like it had been recently refurbished. It wasn't plush, but I thought it was nice enough. I would definitely use it again. My husband thought it had a "Motel 6" atmosphere.”

• Convenient location, easy access. Helpful staff.
• Had to move rooms: non smoking room smelled like cigarettes. The suite was a bit overpriced but the double rooms were a good value for the money.

• Staff was very helpful. Restaurants, grocery stores within walking distance. Easy access to public transportation.
• Expected a little more from breakfast. Ate elsewhere after first day. Noisy people in pool late at night.

“I travel alone and often use public transportation. My destination goals for this trip were Laguna Beach, Newport Beach and Costa Mesa. I chose the hotel for its affordability and easy access to all three cities. Restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance, not to mention bus stops which I need. Nearby Michael's was a nice surprise, as I am a crafter. I felt safe, and the staff were very helpful. I would go back again.”
