“Overall, a good value for the money. It's right off the freeway, no frills, but quite adequate, basically clean (except for the phone) and quite comfortable beds. The pool is the smallest I've ever seen for a hotel/motel, but it was clean. As long as it wasn't crowded, it was fine. Liked the continental breakfast.”

“If this is a 2 star, I am afraid of 1 star. Makes Hilton Garden Inn look like Ritz Carlton.”

“The hotel is dirty. The elevator was very dirty, they never ever cleaned under the bed. Hair all over bathroom floor. $10.00 deposit for a room key. Staff spoke very poor English. Also do not stay at any Wyndham hotels, there customer service if you can call it customer service is just as bad.”

“When we hear the Ramada name we expect superior quality, outstanding customer service and a quiet and leisurely stay in a comfortable room. This was not what we received at the Ramada Inn at Fountain Valley. The traffic and construction noise was loud. The staff was not focused the needs of the customers. The continental breakfast was unhealthy and the kitchen equipment in the breakfast room either didn't work (broken) or has seen better days (Missing buttons and unsafe). Unfortunately, this hotel gives Ramada a tarnished name for us while we travel.”

“This is our second time this year we got our room with Priceline, the first time in Cajon we did bought our room online direct from Priceline and this time we did our bid online, we did look around while we are in California, we're able to get room nicer and cheaper than Priceline offer to us.”

“This not a two star hotel. At best its a one star. While I can tell much work has been done to upgrade this hotel, it more like a hotel of last resort because of the location to the freeway and road noise. The other thing I did not like is a lost key charge. Most hotels have plastic keys which are easy to replace. This hotel had an old style chip key that was expensive to replace and very small making it easy to lose. They charged you 10 dollars up front for the key. If the hotel upgraded the room keys and were some how able to more sound proof the rooms then my opinion would change.”

“They just finished remodeling the rooms so things are clean and current. Standard room had micro, fridge, 2 TV's, blow dryer, iron, safe & continental breakfast. Close to freeway, family fun center & restaurants nearby. I was satisfied with all they offered for the price. We ended up staying another night.”

“I called the motel to secure a non-smoking room and to determine if I could have a late check out. I spoke to a night staff person who confirmed the non-smoking room. He also told me it would be ok for a late check out around 3 PM instead of noon. When I checked in, I spoke with the owner, who had me set for a smoking room. Also he would not budge for me to stay any longer than noon. He would charge me $10 to stay later. As it turned out, I did not have to stay later, but it was not a friendly encounter at check-in. I told him he needed to comply with what his people were telling his guests.”

“While it is located next to the freeway, the noise is virtually non existent. The windows are completely operable which a safety concern is. The room was not ready when we checked in at 5 pm.”

“This motel was one of the better 2 stars I have seen. It was clean and well maintained. There was a breakfast room with the usual items, juice, coffee, cereal, rolls, etc. It was immaculate. The only drawback to the hotel is the freeway traffic sounds. I would recommend earplugs if that bother you. I have heard noisier a/c units in motels.”

“I'm sure these people are trying but it was not a 2+ star as advertised. We were right on the freeway and the noise never abated. If we closed the blinds and drapes and turned on the air the drapes prevented the air from circulating in the room and it became unbearably hot. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired.”

“Rooms are rather small. Check in went smoothly and the staff was reasonably pleasant. The luggage cart was only a little hand truck. The continental breakfast was rather mediocre. A small pool is on site. Parking was adequate. The hotel is easy to get to from the freeway once you understand the odd configuration, but getting back on the freeway is a bit tricky.”

“I have yet to have a "nice stay" in a Ramada. This fell right in line with the others. Old, two "double beds," and noisy. There was a competition between the freeway, the air conditioner, rain hitting the window A/C unit, the running toilet, and the loud clunking refrigerator as to which would keep you awake. Steam iron stopped working immediately. Was clean but musty, help was not rude, but not warm, and two double beds seem outdated in this day and age. These rooms were probably very nice in the 70's. Join the 21st century, Ramada.”

“There were open doors in the evening, drinking parties in numerous rooms, no benches to sit on outdoors. Some of the "guests" looked like they "lived" there. People not wearing shirts in rooms with open doors having parties with lots of men and younger women, lots of drinking and parties after midnight. No assistance with anything, no carts to take our luggage up to the 3rd floor. The card swipe for the premium movies did not work. Tried pushing front desk button phone numerous times and just got a fast busy signal. No way is this 2 1/2 star motel. It looked like a "Hot Sheet" hotel with all the low-life looking people, parties, drinking, people in and out and it looked like a bunch of druggies lived there. A number of the rooms had two men together, and they kind of just hung around on the rails overlooking the pool. I will never stay at this hotel again, and would not recommend it to anyone. Their "star" rating should be lowered.”
