  • The cost. The comfortable beds.
  • We could not add an extra day for the same price.

“We were pleased in every way.”

  • Everyone was very helpful and friendly.
  • I did not get to stay long enough, I loved it.

“I loved this hotel, drinks, bottled water, smores, everything you needed was included. Except there is a $25 per day valet fee, and a luxury fee for California hotels.”

“This was a wonderful hotel. Steps to beach, beautiful pool and nice amenities.”

  • It was beautifully decorated, and had good access to the beach and downtown.
  • Extra resort
fees added without disclosure, parking expensive, access to room was confusing.

“The hotel was beautiful. Internet was expensive, parking was valet only. Attached restaurant was extremely expensive. Access to our room was through long winding halls. Was confusing, and exits were far apart. But it was definitely a beautiful place right on the ocean, with free access to the beach, the public pier, and the downtown shops. There was an additional $16 per day per room "resort fee" added that was not disclosed at check in.”

  • The location was great! We did not eat there because the food was too expensive, but there were lots of places nearby to eat.

“The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are spacious, have a small balcony with a table and chairs. The pool is large and clean. The grounds are lovely, the employees are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect since you can walk on the beach directly from the hotel. The town is a 10 minute walk from the hotel on the paved path situated on the beach.”

  • This is a beautiful hotel, situated in an upscale residential area with easy access to a nice beach.
  • Overnight parking is extremely expensive $25.00 per night, and the hotel charges a resort fee of $16.50 per night!

“This is a hotel for persons on an expense account or who have no common sense about their money. It is a very nice hotel, beautifully maintained, with excellent rooms and grounds. To charge $25.00 per overnight for parking and a $16.50 fee per night for a resort fee is the hotel's right to charge what they want. However, one expects to pay reasonable parking fees and the resort fee is expected in the room's rate. There are other very nice places to stay without the high fees charged by this hotel to the unknowing or unsuspecting.”

  • Spa was beyond expectations and staff was amazing.

“A user friendly atmosphere with shops, restaurants and activity one stop places for surfing etc. The spa was the best I have ever been in. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The room I had faced the ocean and was equipped with a large flat screen TV.”

  • The hotel grounds were flawless and beautiful.

“The Hyatt Huntington Beach was perfect. The Californian restaurant was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life and the presentation was as good as the food itself. The staff was courteous and helpful, and willing to take care of every need. I would highly recommend this to other Priceline customers!”

  • Proximity to the beach and cleanliness.
  • Parking was expensive, and only offer valet parking.

“The hotel was great, beautiful, clean, great location. Unfortunately parking is super expensive and only valet. But I would recommend this hotel to others.”

  • The grounds were absolutely beautiful.
  • A page was torn out of the hotel room magazine - the map.

“Excellent!”

  • The staff was eager to please.
  • Not enough stairs and their were only 2 choices for restaurants.

“The resort was just that, a resort. Even if there was not a fantastic beach and Huntington Pier a short walk away, you could have a fantastic time at the hotel. The 2 restaurants are opposite ends of the dining spectrum but there are many choices in Huntington, a $6 cab ride or 15 minute walk. Staff was great.”

  • Good location, Starbucks on site.
  • Our room overlooked a roof top.

“Our trip was strictly to visit local family, so we did not utilize any of the hotel's amenities. It is a very large resort style property with meeting space and on site shops and restaurants, none of which we used ( exception: Starbucks outlet). The room was nice, hotel provided in room coffee service, complimentary bottled water and daily newspaper for a $12 per day resort fee, which we were not aware of. the overnight parking fee was $25 and there was no alternative, another surprise. Overall it was fine for our purposes although the resort fee and parking fees should be divulged ahead of time.”

  • Terrific spa! Great location, direct access to the beach!
  • The "welcome fruit basket" was a plate of fruit, not what I expected from their description, would not have spent the money for it had I known.

“We can't wait to go back. A beautiful setting, easy access to the beach, lots of activities and amenities to enjoy. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It wasn't in the room when we arrived, when I called about it, a plate of fruit was sent up.”

  • Location is excellent.
  • I of course was not excited about being forced to valet my car at $25 for the night. But what are you going to do?

“The hotel is beautiful, there is numerous activities, places to eat, and of course you are in walking distance to all the great restaurants and shops on Main Street. But the only down side is the mandatory valet parking and the room I stayed in smelled like someone spilt a bottle of cologne and the bathroom was not the cleanest.”
