• Price.
• Too close to the freeway - lots of noise no exercise room; no pool; no Jacuzzi; property slightly run down.

“Although I had booked a full two weeks with the hotel, after three days I was looking for another place. The main complaint I had was the location of the place.... just across the frontage road from the 91 Freeway, so lots of traffic noise.. no amenities at all; no exercise room, no Jacuzzi, no pool. It is located on the edge of an area with lots of trucking terminals and light industrial... so not at all pretty. There are a couple of restaurants about 1/2 mile away, but it is not a nice walk because of the proximity of the freeway and there are no sidewalks. The property itself seemed slightly run down... the recliner in my room was rummage sale quality and there was a slight tear in the bedspread. The side door would not open with my key card, so I had to walk around to the main entrance each time I entered the building. When I checked out, they said they would have to raise my room rate by $15 per night since I didn't stay the full two weeks. I was happy to pay the difference. I found a nice room at LaQuinta which was a much nicer place for $100 per night. I don't think the Extended Stay America will be on my list after this.”
