• I liked the price of the Hotel. I also liked the refrigerator and microwave that the hotel provided.

“Had I known it was that far, I would have went to another hotel instead? The LA traffic was horrible. Days Inn was okay but I stayed in better motels such as Best Western and Comfort Inn.”

• I liked that I could park right in front of my room.
• I did not like the staff or management.

“Not a bad place to stay. Did not like the fact that there was a trainee on duty at night and she didnt know what she was doing and had to call the manager via phone to help her with very simple task.”

• The pool.
• The wet smelly carpet in the room.

“If they replace the mattress (as there were spring sticking out of it) dry the room floors (in California that would be as easy as keeping the doors open longer during the day), then I think this would be a decent economy hotel.”

• The television was a brand new flat screen.
• It was old and the repairs were poorly done.

“If you need a place to stay and don't plan on needing to be in the room for more than sleep, than this hotel is perfect. It's on a busy street, so noise was always in the background. The rooms were well kept, though new paint and repairs were not done well. The television was a nice new flat screen, though the additional cable channels that were listed did not come in. The parking lot was very tiny, and for some rooms you could not park close to your door. Across the street is the Sheriff's training academy, so there was always law enforcement in the area. There are a few fast food places within sight of the parking lot, and access to the rest of Whittier was very convenient.”

• The bed and bedding were fine.
• Bathroom fixtures were broken, small parking lot.

“This is further off the freeway than we would have preferred. Restaurants were scarce nearby. Older part of town, across the street from a sheriff's academy a plus if you are visiting that. The parking lot is large in back, not sure about safety there, small up front. Small lobby, little services, small pool. A revamped older motel. ”

• My room was always clean.
• They didn't have Irons in the room had to ask for them.

• Overall this hotel was a good deal and was up to par.
• Bathrooms could use some remodeling.

“This hotel was nice to stay it had a pool and great rates for doing laundry, I would stay here again given that I was doing business there.”

“Hotel was great. Just that LA has really bad streets and online driving direction sucks.”

• The management was friendly and helpful.

“Our room was cleaned every day and the premises were well maintained. The management provided a continental breakfast every morning that was plentiful and fresh. They also provided the USA Today newspaper that we enjoyed reading. There was easy access to the highway and the motel was centrally located but out of the heavy smog area of Los Angeles.”
