“Hotel was priced right. All rooms need to be consistent. If your going to re-model one room. Re-model all. If room is smoked in make sure to get smell out if u are promoting a non-smoking room. Other than that my stay was good.”

“Do not bother, bad neighborhood, not safe for your car, indifferent manager, windows do not lock, noisy traffic all night, bed old and sagging, sheets not washed, disgusting place, disgusting neighborhood, bums drinking all night outside.”

“This hotel was terrible. It was definitely NOT worth the money I paid for the one night stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for any length of time.”

“Economical, nice, clean, close to downtown long beach where hotels are much more expensive. Got a lot for the price.”

“There was no hair dryer or iron. The TV was not working well half of the channels did not have image, sound only. There were missing light bulbs. The carpet should have been replaced long time ago. When I told the front desk helper about my experience in the morning at check out he did not utter a word. Should have apologize.”

“Bad location. Rooms dingy and reeked of smoke. I paid for the room. Once I had seen it, went to get a refund. Staffs were unhelpful and dismissive. Was denied. Handed back my key and left. Taxi driver stated that we should never stay here; full of crack whores and coke heads. I am sure he is correct. Never stay at this hotel with a family.”

“The purpose of our trip was a leisurely, weekend tour of Los Angeles beach communities. My husband booked the room on the Internet and we knew the commitment involved. I was skeptical after reading the reviews and contacted Days Inn president's office personally. We found the hotel on a major thoroughfare, not the best part of town, but certainly not "seedy" either. One of the first things I noticed was onsite security. Our room had been recently remodeled, was clean, the windows barred, and the neighborhood was quiet that particular weekend. Upon arrival and inspection, we did request newer sheets as those on the bed were very thin and pilled. Our request was responded to immediately. We stayed in a room with a Jacuzzi and it worked perfectly. TV reception was poor, but we were told they were having cable problems. We found the refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and a trip to Trader Joes sufficient for our needs. My husband was disappointed that Internet access was weak and riddled with security warnings, so he did not use it. For under $100.00 a night, it was a very good value in our opinion.”

“The carpet was filthy, walls needed painting, couldn't understand the foreigners working in the hotel lobby. If they are the owners, they need to hire an English speaking employee for the lobby. We had a very hard time communicating with them.”

“I could not get into my normal hotel (was booked) for this week so I booked one night at the days inn. Was not a pleasant experience, checked out in the morning without taking a shower and slept in full cloths? Rooms were not clean and it shows, even though I already paid for it, I was having second thoughts of spending the night there. The cab driver warned me in the way there not to walk around at night and lock my door, area not really safe. I hope this helps.”
