The location.
One elevator extremely slow.

“Very good for those people leaving on a cruise from Long Beach especially if you don't mind walking to the different area activities. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information about the surrounding area.”

The bed was great, the room beautiful.
Can't think of a thing.

“The Courtyard Marriott is centrally located in Long Beach near many attractions. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the beds are very comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay.”

Staff - excellent desk staff and
very helpful.
Spa at pool area was not warm on our first night.

“This hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was excellent. I would recommend this hotel and hope I have the opportunity to stay there again.”

Comfort of the bed and location to train.
Pool/spa under renovation and could not be used.

“Not a three star hotel. Room was cozy and the bed comfortable. There was jack hammering going on for the renovations and the noise was irritable and it was impossible to do any work in your room during the day.”

The exercise facility was very nice and the bed was very comfortable.
Somehow we were locked out of our room about an hour before check-out.

“We were there for one night and our schedule was such that we were late diners. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly in finding us a late night dining opportunity. The lobby was lovely and the coffee was very good. The bed was very comfortable.”

was very excited about the hotel that we got, especially for the price. It was one of the niceiest hotels that i've stayed in.
They stole my friends sweatshirt.

“At breakfast, my friend left his harley davidson sweatshirt at the table. When we discovered that it had been left behind and called to locate it, we rceived several stories about who actually had the sweatshirt. The bottom line is, it was 3 days before Christmas ans one of the employees took it, their was no question that it was found, the question was which of the seberal employees that were seen handling the sweatshirt took it. Management did nothing but hand us a form to fill out.”

It was very nicely decorated.
I did not like the fact that I was charged for parking.

“The hotel is in a very convenient area of Long Beach. There were a number of local coffee shops and quaint little restaurants. But what we really enjoyed was the fact that the hotel was very close to shoreline village.

Beautiful hotel, near everything we were looking for, very nice atmosphere. Loved it!
Loved everything.

Great customer service with a smile.
First room AC did not work.

“Our first night was not the best because AC did not work, hotel staff was very nice in fixing the problem and even gave a free night. The next room was great, staff went out of their way to make sure of our comfort and happiness without us even having to ask!”

Provided free soap for the laundry.
One of the dryers didn't work very well.

“Really, overall this is good, but the parking elevator had a smell to it and the garage could use some improvement. They did not charge us for parking, I do not know if this is a permanent change for them or just on certain days.”

Nice lobby and sitting area.
Does not clean parking garage.

“The stay was nice and room was clean, yet lacks knowledge of surrounding area and lacks cleaning of parking area, where glass was over parking area and actually cut my tire when I parked.”

It was close to downtown Long Beach.
The room smelled odd.

“Last year we got a better deal on the Hyatt in Long Beach using Hotwire. This hotel while adequate was soulless.”
