“The hotel is clean, convenient, and good for tourists. The internet is free and the speed is good.”

“The parking really wasn't valet parking you pay $8.00 to park underground in a tight space. The room was clean, but nothing special and had a lot of wasted space. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“I have stayed at the Dragon Gate several times and I will again in the future because my own personal convenience. The staff has an equal share of unfriendly and rude, and helpful and kind attendants. And I feel confident with the safety of my vehicle in the parking garage. The parking garage attendants are very pleasant and appear alert. Overall my several experiences with the hotel have been positive and pleasing.”

“The lobby is a tiny room on the first floor of a business plaza, the hotel is the entire second floor of the plaza. This made checking in a little uncomfortable. General location is great, the specific location is not, very small driveway with only a couple of spots for guest registration then you have to back out into busy traffic to get out. If you want to park, it is $8 in a public parking garage, since the hotel does not have its own parking.”

“It was fine & clean. It's a convenient store that offers (free) waffles and the usual affair. (Coffee wasn't good, so what) you eat in an open air area that local Chinese business open into.”

“Unique experience that I would not want to repeat. Bathroom was so small! I could not get out of the bathtub without falling into toilet. People were allowed to smoke just outside our room and we had to walk through smoke to get to elevator. It could be smelled inside the room.

“Their customer service was beyond rude! No internet (that just took the word business out of business trip) I called down to ask them to help me with the details of the internet (maybe I was doing something wrong) I rudely got shut down with a 'I don't know anything you call number on card in room' Okay? That was weird. Continued to call tech support, tech support says the router at the hotel needs to be reset, he'll just call them to do that and the internet should be up and running in about 5 minutes. So I decide to take a shower and 45 minutes later I tried the internet nope! Still doesn't work. Call tech support again and tech support checks and says oh that's odd they didn't reset their router yet (like they told them they would). Okay since the hotel wasn't helping or trying he was going to connect me manually that was complicated but it was done. Of course 10 minutes later I lost it. So as I called back tech support I realized I can sort of pick up the neighbors wireless if I stand half way in the bathroom and the sink area. Tech support tells me that I won't be able to get internet due to too many people on just one line usually they have 4 but 3 of them are down and the hotel doesn't know how to reset their router.”

“It felt like apartment living, which was fine for the one night we were there. There was nothing for the young ones to do (they traveled in our group), and no channel on TV for the kids either. With the parking charge, I would have actually spent less at the Hampton Inn.”

“This is a hotel that is located in the heart of China Town. For anyone visiting for the cultural experience, this would be an excellent choice. The rooms were large and spacious.”

“Centrally located near Union Station, next to oldest Hispanic market and inside Chinatown, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Nice complementary breakfast in adjoining coffee shop, helpful staff, good tour of LA that left from the hotel, and a nicely furnished huge room with a fridge. Very quiet no traffic noise.”

“The hotel said "cable plus HBO" which implied actually cable. When in fact it was the basic 11 channels, most of which were fuzzy. In fact, it was just Ethernet and wireless was out in the lobby only. The bathtub was not clean enough to take a bath but everything else was spotless. The room was spacious and quiet and I enjoyed the location. The continental breakfast was in a cafe down the way a bit and it was great. Waffles, not just your standard bagels and muffins. Plus, it was fun to watch all the old Asian men gambling away on lottery scratch tickets and hanging with their circle of old friends.”
