• Great location for us because we attended a concert at the Greek theatre and we did not want to drive all the way home to San Diego that same night.
• It was hard to figure out how to turn the bath water on.

“All except the bath water and also we could not self park other than that our experience was wonderful!”

• Good location, friendly staff, nicely appointed rooms, newly updated bathrooms, nice staff!
• Wish they would have a more casual/less expensive place to eat (snack bar) burgers/fries.

“I love the staff and it's only a block off the freeway so it's easy to get to and from. Great bathrooms, nice beds and cool views!”

• Close to Dodger Field.
• No transportation and everything was closed because of the weekend.

“Our room was a junior suite because they could not put a rollaway in a double room. So we had to upgrade which was nice. Except when we got to the room we were on the highway side and the window would not shut. Other then that no major grief.”

• Not kid friendly enough.

• Close to dodgers stadium went to dodgers game.
• Did not have baby changing stations in the lobby restrooms which many women need and are very rare.

“The hotel was beautiful and had wonderful views from the room. The only thing that I would suggest would to be not charge for parking and to make sure that the refrigerator work in all of the rooms as well as having a free continental breakfast.”

• Room very clean and comfortable, including the bed.
• That having a fridge in room cost an extra thirty (should be included).

“Good location if you want to stay downtown, and everything else was fine--room amenities and cleanliness/comfort. A nice refuge from the heat wave. Don't have any complaints.”

• The common areas were plentiful and nicely furnished.
• The toilet float mechanism failed causing us to call for help.

“This hotel is in a good location, but can be tricky to find because of surrounding one way or limited through streets. Parking fee is very reasonable for the area. Staff is excellent and helpful. I was very pleased with my stay and hope to be a guest again.”

• Great price, good location, nice design, ample sized rooms.
• No dedicated concierge, no airport shuttle.

“This is a great hotel! It is conveniently located in downtown LA with easy access to the subway. The design of the hotel is very nice and the room/bathroom have sufficient space. Overall, I was very pleased. The only issue is that the hotel does not offer a dedicated concierge. The staff struggles a bit when helping in leisure/travel related areas; nevertheless, they are typically able to meet most requests.”

• They nickel and dime you for everything. Internet cost me $10/day, no breakfast.

“I really liked the hotel, it seemed fancy, clean, etc. The main problem was that they nickel and dime you for everything. Wireless internet cost me $10/day which was annoying. Also, there was no continental breakfast. I felt they were often trying to sell me stuff. This is fine if you're on a company paid trip, but irritating if it's out of your own pocket. Overall, though, I very much enjoyed my stay at the Marriot.”

• Nobody likes paying to park and for internet, do they?

“Nice place, too bad everything is crazy expensive. If you park a car and need it in the morning, it can be a hassle with the valet-only parking. Very friendly staff, and delicious albeit expensive dinners. Can't be beat if you're working downtown, easy commute!”

• Back porch restaurant a little slow with service, food good but not really good.

• The front desk service was exceptional!
• Checked in straight from work, had some cold cuts to place in fridge: fridge not working-no plug to plug in!

“Great central location, helpful and courteous front desk staff, nice room with comfy bed/linens, timely delivery of room service meals! Overall, a great experience!”

• Nice rooms and common area.
• The walls were thin and could hear the rooms next door through the adjoining door to rooms. Need thicker doors or insulation between them. Big issue.

“Except for the noise of the adjoining door between rooms. It was a very nice stay overall. I will try this location again, but if I have the noise issue again I would really rate it low next time around.”
