• It was convenient to popular attractions and freeway.
• Night staff was not helpful when we had problem with toilet.

“It was OK as far as convenient location, but the rooms stunk of cigarette smoke, and our toilet was plugged up before we even checked in and the staff was uninterested in fixing it, in fact they suggested we come down 3 floors and use the public restroom. the value was fair”

• I like everything about this hotel.

• Only half way decent thing about this hotel is the location.
• This hotel is horrible, never stay here!

“My experience at this hotel was horrible. I was there for 2 hours and I had to find another place to stay. The hotel on the outside looked okay. But as soon as we stepped off the elevator it look like something out of a horror movie. The hotel was going through a renovation, which have been going on for 3 months now. But it didn't look like they were finishing any time soon, either. The carpet was stained, the walls were half painted. The lighting was really dark. And the hallways smelled really bad. The numbers on the doors were labeled with masking tape. Across our room was another room with the door wide open with garbage, paint cans in it. Our room was okay, looked like a cheap renovation and still stains on the carpet. Our window was wide open when we walked in with no screen on it either. When we looked out the window on the ground was tons and tons of garbage. And the bathroom didn't look like it was even cleaned. We had to order food in cause we were too afraid to leave the room cause the hallways were scary to be in. The bedding had stains on the comforter and the sheets. Definitely will not be back again!”

• Convenient to Hollywood attractions.
• Noise level. Continental breakfast room was very small. Pool was poor.

“When we arrived and checked in we went to our room. It was not made up. We went back down and they put us in another room. The second night about 1:00 am, someone tried to come into our room. They had a key. If we wouldn't have had the chain they could have come in. The people in the lobby said it must have been a mistake. Breakfast was overcrowded the first morning. A group of students. Second morning was fine. Overall nice hotel, but paying for parking should have been included.”

• The hotel was very clean. The rooms were nice and comfy. The location was great, nearby restaurants, stores, etc. Overall a pleasant experience.

• Nothing.
• Facility is old and everything is dirty.

“I found many bugs in the beds and our family had get bitten by the bugs. I moved to another room but I found flies and mosquitoes. There was only a table without a chair. My trip on Hollywood was deadly due to staying at this lodging.”

• Location.
• Had to pay for parking which I didn't expect. Requested non smoking, but room included dirty chair with many burn holes.

“Great location. Was surprised I had to pay for parking. I requested a non smoking room, but was given a smoking room and the chair in it was both dirty as well as having numerous cigarette holes and burns in it.”

• This was a very clean hotel in a safe part of town.

“The hotel staff and parking attendant were all friendly and helpful. They set up our tours for us and suggested places to go in town. It was a great experience.”

• The location was excellent, just a couple of minutes walk to the centre of Hollywood.
• Would have liked more of the healthy options at breakfast.

• The location. Very convenient.
• It was okay except that I needed something and did not have available which is not acceptable.

“It was okay. The price was very affordable. The only thing I was disappointed was I thought all the rooms are non smoking since it was not specified and so with the parking fee. This should be on the description. Other than that everything was good and recommend it to others with all the amenities that wasn't mention to us upon reservation.”

• It was close.
• It was dirty.

“It was close to Universal Studios and down town Hollywood. I took my kids on a walk to Hollywood so they could see what it was really like. It was very convenient for those two reasons. The staff was not the most professional. They would make you wait while attending to personal calls. One even made a date while I was trying to register for my nights stay. Hope it went well. The lobby and the common areas in the hotel were dirty and really needed to be vacuumed and cleaned. My room had ants.”

• King size bed; big bathroom; continental breakfast.
• No table in room; outdoor pool heater didn't work.

“Everything was clean and we had plenty of room in our motel room. We had a small refrigerator but no table and only 1 chair in our room. The bathroom was nice and big and clean. The staff were nice and helpful but the pool was supposed to be heated so that was a big disappointment for us as we got into our bathing suits and went down to swim trusting it to be warm and stuck our toes in the water and ooh it was cold even though it was 85 degrees outside. There weren't enough chairs in the eating area for breakfast but we got there before others arrived so we had seats first. The ice machines on both floors may have been on a timer as they weren't working at about 10 am and then the one on our floor worked just before we left. ”

• I liked the interior corridors.
• There was a wet spot on our carpet. The pool very small and in a bad location.

“The hotel was easy to find but located on a rather busy street with solid double yellow lines, which made it hard to turn into the parking lot. We had to drive several blocks before being allowed to make a u-turn in order to back track to the hotel. The pool was little more than a small concrete area with water. I did appreciate the interior corridors and the clean bathroom. I considered the area rather safe and close to our destination, universal studios. If I were to need a hotel in this area again, I would search around but would not eliminate this hotel.”

• Large room, great value for money.

“My large third floor room had a high ceiling, no traffic noise and was well appointed for a budget motel. The shower was strong and clean. I stayed for three nights while working nearby, but the location is excellent for tourists visiting Hollywood.”

• A slight smell like pet odor in one area of room.

“It was located close to the freeway. The bed was comfortable and the room had a fridge, microwave and safe. No restaurant. Convenient parking.”

• Convenient to Universal and Hollywood bldg. Cheap and clean.
• Small swimming pool. Good for kiddies only.

“For $99 dollars they had a free internet cable for free internet. Walking distance to Hollywood attractions. I would stay their again as a budget traveler clean and cheap I like it.”
