• Nothing.
• Bed had sand or something in the sheets. No hot water at anytime. You could hear people talking on the street below.

“Worst place I have ever stayed. Bed very hard and there was sand or something in the sheets, had to sleep on top of them. No hot or even warm water at any time. Could hear people talking on the street,doors slamming. It was just aweful!”

• Close to the area/attraction we were visiting.
• Very thin walls, used band aid on the floor of our room.

“Not a terrible stay, but definitely could have been better. Desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Small pool, slightly unkept. Be prepared to wake up early for free breakfast and so as the other guests won't wake you with slamming doors and walking down the hall.”

• Great hotel, nice, comfortable and friendly.
• The neighborhood is not desirable.

“Wouldn't want to stray too far away at night by my self as the neighborhood in tricky with an Asian influence on one side and Mexican on the other. Beyond that, the hotel itself was great. More than expected and will stay there again. Big high fives to everyone. It really does work and I really will be back again. Hopefully soon!”

“Overall the hotel was satisfactory. Our room was small and difficult to move around in. The dining area was too small to accommodate the number of people eating during the continental breakfast.”

“The hotel is in a poor part of downtown and there is not convenient travel to and from the convention center without a car. There is no food nearby for eating so you need to use taxis or rent a car.”

• Our room was poorly lit, air conditioner.

“The room had awful lighting. The air conditioner did not work and the room was very humid the entire stay, almost miserable. The window to the room was by the stair well and vending machines, therefore we heard people (including teenagers) all night long yelling, screaming, laughing, running up the stairs. The location was not safe, and we heard sirens all night. The mattress had stains all over it.”

• Clean and nice-looking. Close to subway, bus lines.
• Neighborhood a little scary to walk in after dark.

“Hotel is nice, and just a few blocks from subway, which I used a lot. Be careful walking around after dark, especially if you travel alone. On the positive side, there are a couple of restaurants to consider within a couple of blocks, both at or near 7th and Alvarado: Langer's Deli (coffee shop) and El Guanaco (Salvadoran). McDonald's is around the corner on Alvarado.”

• Upkeep of floors, carpet, walls in hallway; very run down.

“The safety and location was not good. Heard sirens all day and night long. Did not meet my expectations. As long as I stayed in my room, it was okay, but did not like coming out at night.”

• Not clean, not so safe, small parking lot.

“It was convenient to reach Hollywood by subway. Hotel staffs were kind, but room was not clean. The location of the hetel was in the midst of old downtown city (not clean and not so safe).”

• My cell phone was left in the room and they denied it.

“Although it was my fault for leaving a cell phone on the dresser - at 5am when we left - I was amazed that the staff could not find it or hold it for my safe return. Really question their integrity.”

• It is located in a general business area and transportation was accesible and affordable which is what
  I was looking for.
• There was no hangers so there was no place to hang my clothes.
