“The hotel is in a very dicey neighborhood. Parking is not free. My room was likely a closet before conversion and had a window to nowhere and no closet or place to hang my clothes. The room was small and had virtually no layout. The furniture was scattered. It was clean and worked but I would not stay again.”

“Hotel is overpriced for condition and amenities, day front desk staff is rude, maintenance is very poor. Was told there were no rooms available. Customer service is non-existent at this establishment.”

“We did not appreciate finding out about the extra $15/day parking, especially when security was not always there. We also did not appreciate it taking all day for our shower drain to get unclogged. Finally, too far to get to downtown attractions (no shuttle available) and traffic too congested for motor vehicle.”

“The Ramada Inn in Hollywood met our expectations in every way. It was clean and as a parent traveling with two young children I felt very safe. I wish that I had known that I'd have to pay $15.00/day for parking, but that was my only slight issue. I would definitely go back there!”

“I had an excellent experience at this hotel. I had my elderly mother with me and the clerk was very gracious in suggesting the third floor to provide a quiet atomsphere away from the possible weekend street noise.”

“Reaching for better star level. Friendly staff, but the building is too much to make peach coverlets and cream with teal look any better.”

“This place would be great for partyers who want to be away from the action of Hollywood but close enough to get there easily. The staff is bland and attempts to push tours on the guests to make a quick commission. There are sign s for a pool, a sauna and a steam room but none of these are available. The staff was slow to respond to requests such a clogged toilet or more blankets and didn't pay attention to Do Not Disturb signs. I wouldn't stay here again.”

“Holy cow. The sadistic clerks put us in a miserable hole of a room, even though empty rooms abounded. We switched rooms our second night, only to find that the door to our shared balcony did not lock and the fridge did not work. This is topped with paper-thin walls that, to be blunt, isn't exactly what you want in a holly wood hotel one block off the Strip. Post-club puckers, early-rising mid-westerners and "movie" auditions keep you entertained as well as awake. The funny part? We'd stay there again just for the convenient parking lot.”

“The hotel was clean, and the staff was attentive. The rooms were also clean, but tiny. I was somewhat put off by a sign in the bathroom that said, "take a washcloth and you will be charged $5, a towel $10, blanket, $50": I've never seen that in any place I've stayed, and it made me think that this hotel was frequented by the lower end of the human spectrum. Also, it was close to a nice neighborhood, but not in a great neighborhood itself.”

“The hotel was fine for the money. The area is a bit shady and the street noise was terrible. It is near a hospital so there were frequent sirens through the night that woke us up. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of choices with good service. The beds were very nice. The bathroom tile was cracked and dingy, but mostly the place was clean and fresh.”

“When we arrived the coffee maker in the room did not work. Staff refused to replace it until the next day when we were going to check out. They do not take care of their customers and seem indifferent about it. This is the second time we have stayed here; the last time was just as bad. We will not be back!”

“I would not go to Ramada hotels again. I was upset because I thought I contracted for 2 queen beds and got one. Then I had to pay for a cot in the room and for parking. Construction was going on next to my room and I was right next to an elevator shaft which ended in the laundry room. Most other rooms in the hotel had balconies, mine did not.”

“Overall good but I asked for a paper plate to use in the microwave owed the man at the desk refused to get one for me and told me to go out onto the street to find one. This is not good service even for a two star hotel.”

“I had to call the office for a plunger every time we went to the bathroom, 4 times and they would not leave a plunger as if they only had one on site. Staff was rude and did not care about the comfort of our stay, I had to argue with the janitor and the staff to get a plunger left in room and they would not. Bad location to, very bad.”
