• It was inexpensive.
• It was a dump.

“From its unattractive exterior in a run-down neighborhood to the peeling paint and mold growing in the bathroom, this is a dismal place. The staff is friendly and helpful, but they really need to improve the quality of the facilities.”

• I only had to stay there one day.
• The room we got was disgusting!

“The room I got at this hotel was disgusting. I arrived at the hotel after a long drive and didn't pay much attention to the shape of the room until after I woke up. My partner and I were exhausted and the room was poorly lit. Upon waking, we discovered the room was completely filthy. There were patches of some brown substance on the carpets, either food or something else. I don't have enough room to write about it all.”

• Near downtown.
• Mold, cracked walls, musty smell in hall.

“Dirty, small and not remodeled in a very long time. The carpets were stained and smelled of cigarette and mold. The morning breakfast was apples and white bread. Very expensive for what we got.”

• The hotel was located very close to a metro stop.
• The emergency exit closest to my room was padlocked.

“This was hotel has a good location for a reasonable price. It was not fancy, but it was decent and clean.”

• Very easy to locate.
• No parking available at night. You have to give your keys to someone and double park.

“Really let me down. I expected more. If you do not like people touching your car, I do not recommend this place.”

• Nothing.
• I called to ask if I can upgrade the room in a walk-in. The staff says yes. When I showed up at the hotel, the reception simply says no, "too bad".

“Worst hotel and services in Las Vegas. Ruined my Vegas experience.”

• Staff smiled when spoken to.
• English was a second language for all. Parking shortage made planned entry/exit a chore.

“Downtown LA is not convention center area. Since I was scheduled to be at the convention center, Downtown location placed me at least 3 miles from my destination. Hotel needs updating in all departments, room, lighting, parking. Staff was bored, and slow to respond. One star at most. You should have a category under 1 star to apply to hotels with significant weaknesses. As I mentioned in another review, my stay at La Quinta in LAX charged for parking. At least Quality Inn didn't charge me, but parking was potentially hazardous to my rented vehicle. by the way, the staff quickly terminated my call when I called for directions, after telling me it's on Wilshire', and the web site map did not display clearly enough for me to figure out its location north of 110 freeway. I spent 45 minutes looking for this prize and wasted precious time doing so. Last in first out. So on several occasions, I arrived, worried that I wouldn't be able to exit my vehicle in the early AM.”
