• This was in a terrible location. Very dangerous.

• Right by the Greek Theatre for concerts.
• More food late at night.

“Great place to stay and if you need a cab they come quickly. Nice pool and right in front of a Ralphs and shopping area.”

• Convenient location next to Hollywood/Western metro station.
• Located in the Thai town without much food choices except for Thai.

“The room is surprisingly big and comfy given the price, totally satisfied with the location.”

• The utilities don't work well. Heater, fridge and microwave are so old.

“At first, I think the location of the hotel is good, but when I went there I had to worry about the safety, because the street looks old and dirty. The utilities such as heater, fridge and microwave are so old. The first night, the heater can not provide heat air, I use 6 minutes to heat my food in the microwave.”

• Nothing! They were so rude; the place was so dirty, that we wouldn't even check in!
• The staff was the rudest I have ever come across, the place was dirty, and the location was terrible!

“The front desk staff were so rude and the rooms were so dirty, not to mention the horrendous location (used to be an "hourly" hotel for hookers before they changed it!) That I didn't even check in. We moved to another hotel immediately.”

• The price was right for this particular hotel and location.
• The swimming pool was very dirty. The continental breakfast served overdue food.

“For a 1 star hotel, it was not that bad. There were no bugs. The hotel and hotel room were clean. The room that we stayed in may have been haunted. Room 120, we had a weird feeling the whole time that we were there. Also, we had weird dreams that involved visions of ghostly figures. The swimming pool was very dirty; it appeared as if it had not been used for months. During our check out time, the office staff were very unprofessional (i.e., two staff persons jokingly cursed at each other in front of customers). This hotel served overdue bakery for the continental breakfast. We would not stay at this day¿s inn hotel again in the future.”

• Room was awful.

“The rooms at this motel apparently vary. Have stayed here several times and been pleased each prior visit. The room I stayed in this time was very badly painted and decorated. The shower rod was improperly installed causing it to sag. I felt like I was in a slum. Still, it was kept clean during my stay and is in a great location.”

• The location made it easy to get around.
• Cigarette burns on the sheets.

“The hotel was adequate. Nothing amazing, nothing wrong. Great location for getting around. Right next to a subway station that can take you to Hollywood/highland center. It's across the street from a star bucks and jamb juice. The room was good sized and the bed was actually really comfortable. Their TV reception was horrid though.”

• Very close to a red line subway stop.
• Shower curtain was a foot too long! Killed two roaches.

“Excellent location, near the western and Hollywood red line subway stop, good for those who depend on public transportation for their la stays: a weekly metro pass is only $18, good for Sunday to Saturday. You can purchase the metro pass at the Ralph¿s grocery across the street. A good hotel, but not great. Free USA today, coffee, and honey buns. Several rooms were under renovation during my DEC 2006 stay, so this is a good sign. Shower curtain was 12 inches too long, sort of dangerous but I dealt with it. Killed two cockroaches on first day of week stay. Room TV included 10 or so channels. Refrigerator a great place to stock up on simple groceries. Borrowed an iron from the front desk: the room did have a full-size ironing board. Comfortable bed. Would have liked another table top counter along the TV wall. Excellent $6 haircut a short walk east on Hollywood blvd. Hotel is misnamed: it is a very long walk to walk of fame.”
