“This was the worse hotel I've ever stayed in. The first time we realized we made a mistake was when we went to the elevator. Not only was there only 1 that worked, but it was filthy and smelled of smoke. On their site it says the rooms/hotel has been newly renovated but it does not look like any part of the hotel has been changed. The hallways smell, the carpet is filthy and the lighting is terrible (probably so you can't tell how bad it looks). There's an uncomfortable bed, thin covers and comforter, dirty carpet, dirty windows, small room/bathroom bad AC. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but left early because it was so terrible. Personally, I would not spend another night at this hotel if it was free. The only good thing about this hotel is it's location. It is located near a lot of stores and not far from the freeway. But that is not enough reason to stay here. I would recommend staying somewhere else.”

“The second night I found I was locked out of my room. When I went to the desk, I was told to move my things to another room. This room was smelly, from poor ventilation and heavy use of air fresheners or cleansers.”

“It was a horrible experience. My kids were bored. There was a tiny TV, no pool. It was a very small room. The bed was extremely hard which me and my husband both woke up with intense back aches. The lady that worked the front was not attentive. We would ask for directions and she was not helping. It overall was horrible.”

“For price, perhaps this was good hotel. Hotel front desk provided king size bedroom on request. Convenient for travelers who would be outside most of the day & need decent sleep in place. Hotel is close to Universal Studio/attractions & has good food options within walking distance.”

“We asked for 1 pillow since we had 3 people and only 2 pillows and was told they did not have any! They did give us 1 small blanket. Would not provide 1 extra towel. Room reeked of smoke. Chair in room was broke. TV was very small and speakers did not work well. We paid too much to stay there.”

“I was satisfied with pretty much everything except, this hotel does not offer wake up calls but at least they provide an alarm clock. Also there is no radio available in case a guest wants to listen to music.”

“For the price I paid this hotel was a steal. Right next to a huge mall and close to the airport it was perfect for my needs and I would go there again, for sure.”

“Generally speaking, it's a good place for the price. I typically work 14-16 hour days at the studios, so I'd just sleep and shower there. Not a bad location for the Valley Studios (WB, Disney, etc.) and would definitely stay there again for the price!”

“It appears as though the workers/front desk (although they acted surprised) is aware of the bed bugs infestation in some rooms and roaches in some rooms. The pluming was poor in 4 rooms (we had to move four times due to toilet did not work). It is a major inconvenience to move 4 times (there 2 week total). It is a cheap hotel and so you get unkempt rooms. Also there is no repair person for weekends. The manager did not answer his page/call for the entire weekend he was on call. For the money it was great if you can live with pests and a manager you can not get a hold of! As I say, the hotel is great at moving you to another room when you complain. But I felt that they did not resolve the challenges for future travelers. I wonder who had to sleep with the bugs next. The workers claimed they called pest control only they forgot to call him to my room!”
