  • Location was very convenient.
  • Coffee machine, light didnt work.

“The hotel meets the expectation if you are looking for a two star hotel, but never expect more.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[7] • Location:[7]

  • Really close to the my venue and main street Hollywood.
  • Had to pay for parking even though I was a guest and it was a 20 bucks a day!

“Well it was a an ok experience only there for a day, but it did have a pool, spa and its own restaurant. It stunk when I found out had to pay 20 bucks a day for parking. They were doing repairs on the hotel it was nice to be woken up by the sounds of a hammer banging the wall after a long night. The room we stayed in was very clean, but very small. Although it did have a plasma TV, but no HD channels, so there was no point to it. It was ok may be not the best, but considering what other economy hotels were charging and being in a terrible area of Hollywood, it was a good thing I stayed here. I used to live here in L.A and I know how weird it can get.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[5] • Location:[8]

  • Within walking distance of Hollywood sights.
  • $20/day parking fee.

“This hotel is convenient, but nothing fancy. You need to factor in $20/day parking fee to the cost of the room. I would recommend the Holiday Inn Express that is right next door. The rooms are comparable, you still have to pay $20/day for parking, but breakfast is included.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[4] • Location:[7]

  • Decent location, very comfortable bed.
  • Expensive parking, on noisy/busy street, dim lighting.

“Charging guests $20/night for self-parking is ridiculous. An upscale hotel nearby charged $30, but another 2 star one was free. No entry to the hotel from the parking lot - had to walk around the side of the hotel. Location wasn't bad: two blocks from Kodak Theater. Hotel staff was average; room was as well. Wished the room had had a microwave/fridge. Internet connection was slow. Noisy if not on the pool facing side. Corridor smelled funny (was above the restaurant). Overall, acceptable, but probably would have rather spent $20 more for a more upscale place.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • Nice to be able to walk to Hollywood Blvd.
  • Parking fee was a little much, what choice do we have?!

“Good location though I'd probably try something else if I went back. $20 to park for the day, I don't like being forced into something, what choice did I have?! It was nice to be able to walk down to Hollywood and see everything. Last comment is that the hot tub was old, in need of repairs, cracks and tiles missing etc. Overall it was an ok stay. We weren't wow'd but we weren't disappointed either.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Very centrally located to all things Hollywood.
  • The pool was not working when I stayed there.

“The location was wonderful to all the tourist attractions of Hollywood. Only 2 blocks from the Subway system that is very easy to navigate to other attractions in LA. Clean, comfortable rooms with an excellent restaurant/lounge. A great hotel experience.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[2] • Location:[6]

  • Lobby was nice.
  • Hallways and rooms smelt bad, and were dirty.

“Not a bad 1 star hotel, but overall it smelt bad, room was rundown and did not enjoy our stay.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • Good customer service.
  • Insinuated doors allow a person to be disturbed by even routine-level noise in the hallway. Could be a quieter environment.

“Convenient with good customer service. Rooms are basic, and doors do not shield rooms from routine hallway noise.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[9]

  • It was in a good location, staff was very helpful and friendly.
  • The walls were thin we could hear the couple next to us screaming.

“It was just a couple of blocks from Hollywood blvd. So not a far walk at all. The staff was very helpful with all of our questions. The hotel overall was great. However, I would not take the super shuttle it took us 2 hours to get from the airport to the hotel.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • The location was good; close to Hollywood Blvd. where the Walk of Fame, the Chinese Theatre, shopping and the metro station were located.
  • That there was a charge for parking. Also, there was no fridge or microwave.

“For a 2-1/2 star hotel, this was a little better quality than I thought it'd be. I'd recommend it to others. It was very easy to get around the city from where we were. We experienced all forms of transit - bus, metro and car. The concierge was extremely helpful.”

  • Our second stay at the hotel and we loved it.

“We stayed here 6 months ago and were thrilled to get the same hotel. We ran into people from Australia and told them about the hotel and they immediately changed their reservation to the Hollywood Walk of Fame Holiday Inn.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[9]

  • Location, Comfortable bedding, friendly staff.
  • Noise from traffic, loud neighbors.

“Good moderate hotel in a great Hollywood location. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The one downside was the noise from the other rooms. You could hear everything. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[8] • Location:[7]

  • It was better than expected for a Holiday Inn.
  • Paying to park while I'm a guest there.

“Hotel dining room needs a more robust menu and quicker service. For the price I paid for the room the hotel met my expectations. I did not like having to pay for parking while being a guest at the hotel.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • Clean.
  • Old facilities, odd smells.

“Clean, but the facilities are old. Hallways have an unusual smell -- likely old room service meals. Not very strong nor offensive, so tolerable. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean. Price of about $70-$80 is acceptable based on the quality of the hotel itself, but if proximity to Mann's Chinese and Hollywood and Highland are important, the price may need to be adjusted up -- this hotel is only about a 5-10 minute walk from Hollywood and Highland.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[10]

  • Perfect Location.
  • No Refrigerator.

“Excellent hotel based on location. We were able to take in all of the sites of Hollywood with no real logistic hurdles. I would highly recommend this hotel for those interested in seeing Hollywood in all of its splendor.”

  • Location is great.
  • Furniture in bar looked cheesy.

“This hotel is about 3 blocks from Hollywood blvd and is an easy walk. Bed was comfortable and the ac worked great. Staff was friendly (particularly the doorman). They charge $20 for parking.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[8] • Location:[6]

  • The location is absolutely perfect!
  • Outdated rooms. Uncomfortable bed.

“This hotel was completely adequate. Its location is just a short walk to the walk of fame. The staff is very friendly. The room was pretty basic and not completely clean. The bed was very uncomfortable.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[8]

  • Friendly and helpful staff.
  • On a very busy street which made getting in and out a bit of a task.

“I enjoyed my stay there from the moment we got there. The person at the front desk offered us late check out for the next day, which allowed us a few extra hours of rest. The room was also very clean.”
