• Very helpful front desk.

“This is a good hotel for families and for leisure travelers and for business. Not really romantic The pool is nice. Breakfast is included. Free pick up and return to airport every 15 minutes. Car rental place on premise and big parking garage for cars Free parking if car is rented from the hotel. Most tours will come pick you up at the hotel. There is a bus that stops near the hotel but LA bus service is very slow.There are conference rooms”

• Location to Los Angeles airport.
• The eliptical machines in the workout room did not work.

“The hotel is convenient for it's location to LAX. The lobby and eating area are nice and clean. My room was very dated. The stores across the street are bail bondsmen.”

• Close to airport.
• Inadequate parking for guests, not well lit or secure at night.

“This hotel is fine for people traveling directly to hotel/airport via van service. Difficulty with parking area not being patrolled to keep panhandlers from approaching while on hotel property.”

• Elevators were slow and hard to find a seat for breakfast.

“The rooms were nice, but unfortunately we had people above us each night (3) jumping on beds/floor past 11:00 pm at night. We do not agree with having pets in the hotel.”

• Convenience to the airport.
• No hotel safe.

“This hotel was okay. It was clean and convenient to the airport and they really did a nice job with decorating. The deadbolt on the door was old and I had to wrestle with it to lock and unlock it I was disappointed and surprised that the room did not have a safe. I liked the fact that they offered free continental breakfast, but the hot food was cold and I was first in line at 6AM! The free WiFi in the room was excellent.”

• Handy to LAX airport, very helpful shuttle drivers.
• Wake up call I requested was 10 minutes late.

• Just a few minutes to lax & right down the road from long term parking.
• Noisy.

“If you are looking for one night, no problem. Clean, new rooms, good gym and clean pool. The AC in the room cycled very poorly and loudly. Add that to the hwy and airport noise coming through the window and you have a less than stellar nights sleep.”

“The hotel was okay I was only staying for one night and it was great cause of its location to LAX. But it was so close to LAX that there was plenty of traffic. But overall was okay.”

• Rooms were modern.
• Rooms are small.

“If you park on any other floor than the 1st you have to take the elevator down to the 1st floor. Go into the lobby & take that elevator to the floor your room is on! Now wouldn't it be easier to just have the elevator from the car park have access to the floor your room is on.”

• Seedy characters panhandling at the doors.

“This older property is run down and understaffed. They must be one of the few hotels in the nation still using real keys for the doors instead of magnetic card keys. The hotel is located near a strip club and seems to attract vagrants. My limo driver called my cell phone to make sure I made it safely to my room as he was afraid to drop me off.”

• The customer service at the front desk was awesome. They let me check out both rooms, two beds and one.
• My room had a mans t-shirt behind the sofa? Room cleaning could of been better.

“I enjoyed my brief stay at this hotel. A 2.5 was a good rating, I would give it the same. The customer service was great and very helpful. What I liked the most was that they showed me both rooms before I could choose which one I wanted. Thanks. Parking is a bit expensive, but other than that it was nice.”

• Location and close to the airport (lax) good for early or late flights.
• The staff acted as if they did not care if you stayed there or not.

“The La Quinta is a good choice for a stay over at lax for a night when you need a bed sleep in after a day of flying. It is close to lax and is on the airports shuttle route. Do not expect anything fancy or up scale. The check in counter is small and the staff need work on learning that the traveler plays there wages. But for a cheap place to sleep for a night it may fit your budget.”
