“Nice hotel, though, they charged us for shaving cream and when I asked the front desk if there was anything else we had on the bill besides parking, she said no. Then we got a higher bill than expected. Not a huge deal, but it's something that should have been complementary.”

“I wouldn't stay at this hotel even if they gave me two free nights again! The staff went into my room after night one to see if I was still in there and then forced me to check back in for the second night even though I had paid for two nights up front. When I asked the front desk & concierge for directions and such, they told me they didn't know. What a waste of Holiday Inn money if staff is rude, nasty and uncaring!”

“Fabulous room. I've stayed in 5 star hotels and this was almost as good. the room had been remodeled and the bathroom was very nice a even a bit roomy. The flat screen tv was good. The bed, pillows etc. all were excellent. We were delighted. And the parking wasn't a rip off”

“Wifi was not working in room, they did have a tool free help line and they were pleasant, but I still had to go to lounge for Wifi. NS room smelled of amoke and was noisy to airport traffic. Friendly staff but more like a 2 star room.”

“Honest housekeeper made up for the inconvenience of the construction for me, but be prepared for some noise, some fumes, and no pool or fitness room.”

“You will see a big sign at the reception desk saying that they are in construction. The sign says that any noise or disruption is beyond their control. I was welcomed with peeling paint in the hallway, broken light bulbs in the room and dirty elevators. This seems like a perfect way to welcome a guest!”

“The hotel met my expectations - the room was large, had a great king bed, nice TV, and great shower. Unfortunately the internet was expensive (69 cents/minute), the swimming pool was difficult to get to (had to leave the hotel and walk through the garage) and was closed because of construction, and I had to wait for the airport shuttle for 30-35 minutes after a long international flight. But the room itself was nice and the staff was friendly.”

“The staff was very friendly and helpful, the lobby was very nice and clean, the room and bathroom were spotless, the restaurant and room service affordable and with a good selection. The bed was very comfortable. They have a business center available for Internet and faxes and wireless Internet in every room. I lost my essentials during the travel and at the front desk they gave me toothbrush, toothpaste and a comb. I had stayed at the Hilton before, but I very much prefer the service at the holiday inn and La Quinta Hotels.”

“Convenient location and airport shuttle are about all this hotel has going for it. It is undergoing a long overdue renovation, but we were given an old room that smelled of cigarettes and had black mold in the bathroom. Halls had carpet that was buckled, there was scaffolding all around. I wouldn't give this above a one star until the renovation was finished.”

“Holiday Inn at LAX is nice for the business traveler. Close to the airport and McDonalds is right next door. Gas is close and the car rental place is close. Good place overall.”
