• Very clean, hip, updated, great staff.
• Poor lighting in the bathroom; somewhat noisy on a Saturday night.

“Very funky, upscale modern hotel in great West Hollywood location. Suited to 25-40 crowd - we skewed a little older, but still had a great time people watching!”

• Nice rooms.
• Was charged for 2 movies we did not watch.

“Nice rooms but had to pay for parking and was charged $30 for to movies which we did not order. Got them to cancel one charge but had to pay for the other and don't even think about eating or drinking anything from the room the prices are outrageous.”

• I loved the glass shower. My wife and I were like newlyweds.
• The hotel is completing renovations, so there is a lot of stuff to move around.

“My wife and I were at the hotel for a nice, romantic weekend. I had a lot of trepidation going there. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was lovely, the staff was professional and the crowd was young and hip. I thought the food and drinks were a bit overpriced, but considering price of the room, it was worth it. I would recommend this hotel.”

• Stunning view, exceptional bed and room.
• Extremely expensive amenities, but it is West Hollywood after all.

“Although the lobby is still under renovation, the room was absolutely wonderful and freshly renovated. The room has floor to ceiling bay windows with a stunning panoramic view of Los Angeles. The amenities, parking, and restaurant are all very expensive. I would have preferred the clarity in advance so I didn't look like a goof telling people I was meeting that I was staying in Beverly Hills.”

• The lobby is being renovated, so its quite annoying to see.

• Great updated rooms, beautiful pool and view.
• Construction, expensive to park, many unfriendly/unwelcoming staff (especially at pool bar).

“Despite the construction in the lobby and a few unfriendly employees, the hotel was a great stay. The rooms were newly updated and included nice amenities like Korres bath products. I thoroughly enjoyed our room and the pool is beautiful. However, the parking is expensive and you even need to pay for ice. Aside from the minor inconveniences, I would definitely stay at the Mondrian again.”

• The rooms were comfortable, fun, had great views.
• They were doing construction in the lobby so everything was blocked off and difficult to navigate through.

“The Mandarin is an excellent for those wishing to be close to the Hollywood, Beverly Hills and West LA action. The rooms are creative and beautifully appointed, the views are magnificent, the service isn't the greatest but the rooms and location make up for it.”

• The atmosphere, cleanliness, and attention to detail were great.
• Nothing.

“The hotel was amazing, clean, friendly staff, helpful concierge, great food, great room service; maid service was prompt and thoughtful. I will stay here again and again.”

• I really liked the rooms in this hotel and the beds were very comfy.
• The scene was very surreal like another mindset. very celebrity.

“The hotel was really nice very strange in many ways too. The whole Hollywood thing is very apparent here. The staff was friendly though and did not make us feel weird for having out kid there. But everyone was there to party so be prepared. Someone tried to break into our room at 2 in the morning and we were told "well it is Saturday night" so most likely a drunk guy wrong room. Did not make my adrenaline calm down though. So if you want to party this is for you. But if you have kids and do not be discouraged but hope they do not break anything in the room.”

• It was very trendy. Loved the room decor!
• It was undergoing a major renovation during our stay.

“This hotel is trendy. The room was adorable, the staff was impeccable. It was within walking distance of many great restaurants and night clubs. Would definitely stay there again!”

• The overall atmosphere started in the lobby and was kept throughout the building.
• From our room on the 4th floor, the music from the club downstairs was too loud to sleep until 3 am.

“Great unless you are too close to the club. then you won't get any sleep. Otherwise a wonderful hotel in a great area at a decent price.”

• No coffee-maker in room and a bit over priced on food.

“Very contemporary hotel in a great WeHo location. Construction going on the whole time we were there but at least it was confined to the lobby area. Nice friendly staff.”

• The renovation was well worth the money. The hotel is very luxurious.
• Construction/poor signage made it difficult to find the hotel & then the valet parking.

“You can't beat the convenient location of the Mondrian. The eclectic decor and luxurious appointments in the guest rooms will make you wish your business trip had to last longer. And the restaurant- Asia de Cuba- offers mouthwatering cuisine you'll crave once you're back home! The Mondrian certainly earns its star rating.”

• Korres products, comfortable bed, modern design, couch, flat screen TV.
• Drapes did not close all the way, under construction, valet was slow.

“The hotel is under construction and I am not sure what stage it was in when I stayed there. Trying for a modern feel but needed updating. On a very busy street, so a bit hard to get to. Well thought out floor plan and comfortable bed.”

• Decor and ambiance were great as well as location.
• Noise levels from outside and inside hotel. Tends to be a party hotel, trendy, pricy but needs improvement in terms of use of space.

“Hotel is centrally located and great for exploring west Hollywood area. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Noise levels tend to be high from the street and within the hotel, so I would not recommend this hotel for family travelers. This is definitely a young trendy hotel that needs to concentrate on upgrading services and hotel common spaces. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay again given the proximity to clubs and dinning. The hotels has potential to be a great hotel, but still needs work.”

• The Sky Bar. The location of the hotel.
• The rooms door kept rattling when someone would close their door.

“The hotel was great and Sky bar. The location was perfect. The only problem was the continuous doors rattling when someone would close their door on the floor. It woke you up a lot during the night/day.”
