  • The lobby and restaurant was nice, room was a little small.
  • One of the concierges was rude when we asked him some places to go.

  • Absolutely Fabulous! Our room was beautiful, clean, and in a good location!

“The hotel was in a great location near the airport. It's great for the leisure, family, or business travelers. The room was clean and very nice. The bathroom was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I would definitely stay here again.”

  • Bed was comfortable.
  • Dirty washcloth in tub on arrival. Restaurant not great.

“Very nice lobby with good amenities. Room was a pretty typical hotel room. Nothing special except the bed was more comfortable than most. There was a dirty wash cloth in the bathtub on arrival, so cleaning crew was not very thorough. Food in restaurant definitely not worth the price, was cold and chicken was quite tough and dry.”

“I was given a room with a view of the roof, and the workers that were on the roof. Literally, there was a room right off of my window. The workers were at eye level with my room where they could see me dressing. The internet was non-operational. When I complained, I was put in the "preferred guest" floor, where my view improved and I was given free internet. But the phone and two lights were non-operational. There was no soap or shampoo but there was a bathrobe and coffee this time. The bellman lost our luggage and delivered only half to us and the other half to another room. The parking was $17 per night for self parking. The lobby was very nice but the rooms were no better than motel 6. The room service was awful, clearly they did not have a professional chef, and the food was very over priced. Pasta no better than a box of 99 cent past roni, over cooked chicken and under cooked potatoes. There were no clean towels by the pool, but plenty of dirty towels sitting around. The poor area and other common areas had plenty of dirty dishes sitting around. The hot tub was broken, and cold. The staff was rude and low class. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. There was a racially motivated gang fight in the lounge on our 2nd night there, the good thing is that it is in a really bad neighborhood where there were plenty of cops on hand to come and break up the fight and seize any weapons these obvious gang members were toting. The lobby had a nice floor.”

  • Internet expensive to use.

“Fabulous hotel within short distance from LAX. Staff very nice- hotel beautiful- even a walk able distance to McDonald's if you want to grab a cheap meal.”

  • Quiet, late checkout time (12 noon), clean.
  • High parking fees.

“This is a typical business travelers hotel. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, business center, fast access to parking lot. The only thing I was missing was a terrace and garden area, that would have allowed to relax outside before getting on the plane.”

  • Very expensive parking.

“Great location, very helpful staff (with one exception), beautiful and clean rooms. Had to request hair dryer (mine kept shorting out). Complementary bathrobe was in 1st room, but not 2nd room (just empty hanger). Overall, an excellent experience.”

  • The Heavenly Bed, of course!
  • No Wi-Fi in the rooms. Big disappointment.

“Beautiful lobby. I'm a fan of the Westin wherever I go. Great location by the airport. Convenient to highway. Best bed in the world! Only downside is that there is no way to get internet with your laptop. They have a keyboard you can use to check your email on the TV, but mine had no batteries. Had to pay $7 to check email downstairs for only 15 minutes in the very open lobby. I needed to do work online in my room, and was unable to. Other than that, it was great!”

  • The bed and pillows.
  • It seemed dark in the room; the lights were not very bright.

“My last night, which was my 3rd night, the fire alarm went of at 2am, 4 am and 6 am. It was awful - loud, went on for 15 minutes before they resolved it. I had a really busy day of business meetings and was exhausted. I didn't have time to complain, but I think the hotel should give me a free night or something.”

  • TV didn't work.

“All was fine room could use a little "umph" it was very noisy but it was by the airport. I expected it to be noisy. The main negatives were the TV didn't work properly ABC's and NBC's audio was wacked and there were no glass drinking glasses everything was plastic.”

  • Bad condition, no wireless internet, restaurant terribly expensive.

“The rugs in the aisles and rooms are stained; the duvet cover was stained there was no wireless internet in the rooms; the cable internet was not working. The breakfast buffet costs $21 and does not include bread; I was charges $3 for the toasts. The bell boy desk did not answer the phone.”

  • Room was a little below the 4-star rating of the hotel.

“Good and clean, but the Sheraton few blocks down the road has a much better inside restaurant (and also a Starbucks), the room are much newer, cleaner and nicer and it costs the same.”

  • Comfortable, convenient, friendly and affordable.
  • Breakfast food is too expensive. Dinner food was not very good.

“Overall this hotel is very nice. The heavenly bed is wonderful and the rooms are quiet. The staff is excellent in every way.”

  • The staff at the Westin was very friendly and informative.
  • The hotels charged for parking, I didn't see that mentioned in their info.

“The Westin, LAX was truly a 4 star hotel. The rooms were spacious and the staff was always friendly. They used our names whenever we contacted the operator, front desk or room service.”

  • Furniture and Bathroom needed updating -.

“Hotel needs to be renovated. The furniture was old and stained - lamp broken. Bathroom fixtures were old and outdated. Carpet old and stained. This Westin Hotel was not up to the norm for a Westin. The room was clean but definitely not a 4-Star hotel location was great.”

  • The airplane noise was horrific. Did not sleep until after 1a.m.

  • Easy location to LAX with shuttle.
  • Room needed several maintenance issues, peeling paint, lamp falling off wall, slow tub drain.

“Good location with convenient free shuttle to LAX. Walk to fast food. we also walked to drop off our rental car at Budget (10 min walk).”
