• The plants and gardens were beautiful and fairly well attended.
• It was hard to understand what any of the staff were saying.

“I'm sure this hotel was lovely in its day. But it has an air of neglect about it now. The room was nice but the bathroom needed a fresh coat of paint at least.”

• Friendly staff.
• The rooms were too dark, it was like walking into a cave to confining.

“Not a nice place to stay. The rooms were to dark, the air conditioner did not cool the room. Lousy parking. This place is old and rundown.”

• Electrical outlets gave me problems; plugs would not stay securely in them.

• The heated pool.
• It was hard to get food at the restaurant; the parking was $14 even if you stayed there.

“The hotel was okay and generally looked clean. The room was great and the heated pool a nice bonus. The staff was friendly and helpful (except for the ones in the restaurant). Parking was $14 a night and wasn't guaranteed, as people who came to the area for events near the hotel were allowed to park there as well. In order to order off the menu at the restaurant, you must have a voucher. Otherwise, there is a small buffet to meet your dining needs. When we went, we couldn't figure out the price of the buffet and there was no one behind the counter to make or serve us our eggs so we left.”

• It was close to the airport and convenient for our purposes.
• There was no parking and the rooms were very dated. (Old).

“The hotel was just ok for an overnight stay to fly out early the next morning. I specifically asked for l night stay and to park my car for 5 days. The hotel has that plan but it must be made by hotel staff only. When we got there, there was no parking available. The hotel was nice enough to refer us to an inexpensive parking lot about a mile away.”

• It was central to everything.
• Poor general facilities, small room, power points did not always work.

“Probably would never stay here again. Noisy, kind of run down, and the staff weren't overly friendly or helpful. Parking is terrible, however the location is central as its near the airport (as in right near, the rental car return was across the road).”

• The pool area and public garden courtyards were adorable.
• Our room was a bit dark with no balcony opening into a cute public garden.

“Great motel for the price. Lots of potted plants and a pool in the center make it feel like an oasis away from the busy streets that surround lax. Free wireless and fruit and bagels in the morning make it a real bargain. It's an economy motel, but pretty cozy and warm. Prices after taxes.”

“Hard to locate - had to park in alley, a/c was noisy and not terribly efficient. Bathroom shower temp uncontrollable, no bathtub. Continental breakfast less than appealing and poor service.”

• Hotel was convenient for closeness to airport and appropriate for business travel.
• I did not care for the dark breezeway and dark courtyard.

• Going to the room is somewhat dark.

“The experience I had with the hotel was very pleasant. We arrived (my daughter and I) to lax almost 1am (we came from an Asia trip) and called the hotel for the shuttle for pick up and few minutes the shuttle came and the driver was very helpful. The desk person in the hotel accommodated my request for a downstairs room since I have 2 big luggage's. The room was very clean and the price is right.”

• We were put at back of hotel far from lobby.

“Not very appealing. When picked up at airport, the shuttle driver had a Spanish radio station on turned up full blast. No bell service for bags to room.”

• The convenience was extant the comfort of the beds.
• The breakfast no seating the hotel bus did not pick us up.

“The hotel was great but the shuttle was not good but it was accommodates with an upgraded which appreciated the staff was good and friendly wet you need to work on shuttle service wit children especially.”
