“Expensive parking, inexistent valet service, inefficient concierge, closed bar, ridiculously small pool and overlooking a parking lot.”

• Professional staff, very clean lobby area, located close to many restaurants and coffee shops.
• Bad odor in the room.

“I had a great stay for the most part. The only problem for me was that I didn't know that the area was a gay-district. It is a problem for me, because I didn't feel comfortable walking around the area looking for a place to eat and all the guys were checking me out.”

• It was blocks away from the West Hollywood night-life, which was GREAT!
• The toilet broke the first night we got there, and my friend fixed it, then it broke again after he left. They didn't fix it AGAIN.

“The hotel would have been PERFECT for the price had the toilet problem not upset me so much. A toilet is essential for the duration of your stay, so after I informed the front desk it was broke AGAIN, twice in less than 24 hours after I first checked in, and they said they would send someone up to fix it when I went out, they did NOT. And then to further frustrate me, my friend drove up from San Diego with me when I checked in late Friday night, we checked in around 11pm. He had to drive back home Sat. morning and was out BEFORE 7:45 AM, less than 9 hours total, and I was charged a total of $54.00 More for a parking pass for two days when he was there for less than 9 hours TOTAL, when I checked out Sunday morning. This was Non-negotiable, and angered me further after I had the issues with the toilet.”

• We made lots of noise and no one bothered us or complained.
• Access to parking was less then desirable.

“This hotel has been renovated in a modern/retro style. Close to everything. Reasonably priced.”

• Nice Hotel, not the best star quality, location is good.
• Staff not always the friendliest.

“Hotel water was scheduled to be shut off on my day of arrival from 11:45 to 3 pm. The good news is they let us check-in around noon and the water never went off.”

• Great location, clean complex & friendly staff. Have hesitations to recommend to friends. Will stay there again.
• One of the elevators was out of action over the weekend, only one lift made it difficult for all guests. Slow.

“A better maintenance contract on the lifts in the building should be addressed for the comfort of all staff & guests. Overall, a pleasant time was spent in the suits. Walked away feeling good about myself. Comfortable beds & very pleasant.”

• The location of the hotel to other bars/clubs is great.
• The hotel needs a makeover has been a long time.

“The location of the hotel is the reason we picked it. It is convenient to shopping, restaurants, bars/clubs in west Hollywood. Not the best value for the price as far as design. It needs to be redecorated. It has looked that way for many years.”

“Deco was outdated. Ridiculous placement of showerhead at chest-height. Bathroom needed repainting as there were areas that were patched and left unpainted. Nonetheless, we had a pleasant stay.”
