• The staff was always ready to accommodate our needs.
• The parking was cramped and there could have been better sound proofing. Also, it was difficult to receive cell phone communication due to the building.

“I liked the location of this hotel and the staff was very accommodating. The lobby of this hotel was beautiful but it seemed like it was built onto the front of what used to be apartments. There wasn't enough parking close to our room but the underground parking facility was close enough. The attached dining facility served quality food and there was a good view of the pool from the restaurant. It was difficult to receive cell phone communication due to the building configuration and, especially, if one had a room on the bottom floor, like we did.”

• Big rooms, nice pool, 3/4 miles from the beach.
• Room smelled smoky, only complaint.

“I found it to be a very pleasant experience! The hotel is within walking distance of the beach, approximately 3/4 mile away. Recently renovated. Nice bathrooms and common areas. Wonderful experience.”

• The front desk allowed us to change our date at the last minute.
• We were under the impression that breakfast was included, and it was not. I was disappointed that our room was not clean upon returning from the beach.

“Maid staff was not available to clean our rooms, and breakfast was supposed to be included, the Jacuzzi was under construction as well as other areas of the hotel, I would not recommend this hotel for vacations.”

• Location.
• It's not the Marriott.

“Hotel was just as I had expected, clean and staff (room crew) were very nice. The location is perfect for the Torrance, Redondo area.”

• The location near the beach and the $1 bike rental.
• Spa was broken and pool much smaller than it looked in pictures. Room had a slight odor.

“Overall, a comfortable place to stay with basic amenities. Liked the small cafe where you could eat your breakfast by the pool.”

• We were impressed with the cafe owner? She was extremely funny and helpful. The men at the counter were exceptionally business like.
• We had to go looking for room -maid service, but understood they were looking to hire a supervisor, we did appreciate not having them knock on our d.

“I liked the proximity to the beach, other restaurants, and businesses. It was surprisingly quiet for the closeness to the road. The one thing we would really like to see added would be transfer from the airport to the hotel.”

• Good location in a safe area by the beach area.
• Overall price with taxes in the state of California.

“Overall the motel was okay but the price should have been reduced accordingly for motels of this caliber in the state of California.”

• Friendly staff. Love the $1 bike rental option. Was so nice to bike into town and down beach!
• The faucet caulking in shower was coming undone. But not a big deal.

“Clean, friendly, very convenient Redondo beach hotel. Typical mid-grade travel hotel. Would recommend to anyone. Bike rental was a nice, unexpected touch and the room price was reasonable compared to other surrounding hotels. Lots of restaurants near-by within walking distance and the hotel was situated in a lovely neighborhood. Good for any traveler except maybe those demanding 5 star luxury hotels. But those people wouldn't be looking at a best western anyway. Would definitely stay there again!”
