• Loved the shuttle service and size & convenience of this hotel.
• Our room had been used by someone (snuck in it) just B4 we arrived.

“When we walked-up to our room door we noticed it was being held open by the security latch. We pushed the door open and saw a used washcloth on the floor next to the bathroom w/a towel close by. Someone had snuck in to use the bathroom after the room had been cleaned and B4 we arrived.”

• Shuttle to airport and convenience for a short stay.
• Loud. No control over patrons in hall ways.

“Nice, clean room with adequate amenities and good for a short stay. Great for the business traveler because there is a FedEx Kinkos Business Center located inside the hotel. Drawback is there are no other eating choices except right inside the hotel. It is not convenient to any restaurants or shopping unless you get in a cab or on a bus.”

“Comfortable, reliable, solid Marriott property. Efficient check-in, remodeled rooms, no flight noise, and appropriate level of amenities. Would recommend.”

• The bed was wonderful, room was beautiful, free shampoo & conditioner was excellent, and room service was delicious!
• The Latitude 33 hotel restaurant was not good. The food was overpriced for what it was and the service was horrible.

“I loved the hotel! It has modern decor and the whole hotel was beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was roomy. They had free Bath & Body Works shampoo, conditioner, and lotion in the orange ginger scent, which was very invigorating. Room service was delicious; I highly recommend the banana pancakes. My only complaint was the Latitude 33 hotel restaurant. The food was overpriced and unimpressive and the service was even worse. The sports bar at the restaurant was much better.”

• Very nice pool and gym facilities and free airport shuttle.
• No free internet.

“We were very impressed with the hotel, although it is recommended that you stay at the hotel because it is in a bad part of town. There is a free shuttle from the airport that runs every 20 minutes, so you don't really realize what part of town you are in. It seems like the hotel is in the process of some renovations, so there was the smell of new paint in places and exposed wiring in the hallways. Also, there was no free internet in the hotel. They were charging something around $13 a day for internet, or you could use the business center in the Fedex/Kinkos room for 40 cents per minute. This was a slight annoyance to us. The room was very nice, roomy, and clean. Our room had a balcony overlooking the beautiful heated pool. The workout facility on the bottom floor was among the best I've seen at a hotel and is free for all guests. Overall, we were very impressed with the hotel.”

• Friendly staff, no hassle, clean centrally located.
• Staff at restaurant on site not attentive. Coffee served was bad even though there is a Starbuck on site.

• Proximity to Venice Beach.
• Paying $20 a day for parking.

“The hotel was great but having to pay $20 a day for parking increases the overall cost of lodging and therefore makes the hotel a slightly less attractive option. Otherwise, no complaints.”

• Convenient to the airport.
• Vast and very commercial.

“This hotel absolutely serves the purpose of being close to LAX. It is immense. Front desk staff was wonderful and attentive; in the dining room the staff spent a lot of time looking another way when the check was urgently needed. But it's perfectly serviceable.”

• Clean, nice rooms, very close to the airport, good facilities.
• Dial up connection extremely slow.

“The hotel is a modern hotel with great amenities. The restaurants have good food. The rooms are upscale and very clean. Great value.”

“Was pleasantly surprised at the furnishings and cleanliness of the room. The staff was extremely helpful with any requests and follow-up. I would have preferred complimentary WiFi in the room. Also free parking but I understand that it is very difficult to offer free parking at an airport hotel.”

• The room was nice. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean.
• The parking fees are too high. The hotel staff is not very friendly or professional.

“This particular hotel is very close to LAX which is great for convenience. However, the neighborhood is not safe. The room was actually very nice and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean which was nice. The hotel staff was not very friendly but they complete their job in a sufficient manner. Overall, this is definitely a 3 star hotel and should not be rated any higher than that.”

“Never got any maid service, there was visible debris on the floor when I checked in - wasn't vacuumed. On the plus side, convenient location to airport, very comfortable bed.”
