  • Room was ready early.
  • Charge to use business center.

“The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. There was a restaurant in the hotel. However, the other restaurants were several blocks away. The bed was comfortable.”

  • Easy to park, validate parking and check in and check out was very friendly and efficient.
  • Gift shop needs more variety.

  • The staff was very friendly.
  • The self-park garage ticket dispenser was broken and I spent 30 minutes of an 8 hour stay at this hotel trying to get into the very gritty garage.

“I was just there for 8 hours. Given the 30 minutes I was stuck trying to get into the self park garage, I wish they had comped the $12 parking fee.”

  • It was close to the airport. Pillows on bed were fluffy and soft.
  • Parking was expensive, bed way too firm, and doors slammed all night.

“This was the absolute worse experience I have ever had in a hotel. The bed was like sleeping on concrete. No springs on doors so all night I heard doors slamming. I couldn't believe they don't have doors that don't slam shut. I was awakened every few minutes by doors slamming! The parking was so expensive and the garage and elevator were in horrible condition. The elevator didn't go to the 7th floor so I had to get off the elevator at night and walk the stairwell which is a big no no for a woman or anyone for that matter. I will never ever stay at another Crown Plaza hotel. I knew I should have gone with a two or two and a half star hotel. At least the parking is free and there is a free continental breakfast and comfortable bed and quiet doors.”

  • No free Internet and business center.

“The room is clean and comfortable,however there is no free Internet, however I stayed another crown plaza hotel in San Jose which has free Internet and business center. Also, there is no free parking.”

  • The sushi cart and friendly bellman.
  • Hotel door that did not lock - would be opened without key.

“Terrible experience. Each experience has been so different, others positive and this was unacceptable. I have no idea how this hotel is classified as 3.5 stars. This experience will ensure I do not go back to the Crowne Plaza. The first room I was given, after being there for almost 2 hours, I learned my door was not secure. The door could be opened from the outside without a key card. As a single female business traveler, this is a very uneasy thing to consider. The hotel seemed shocked by this, but other than changing my room, that is as far as they took the situation. My 2nd room had a horrible bed that sank and made a large noise whenever you sat down on it. My office chair was squeaky and in poor shape. When I asked for a different chair, the hotel seemed annoyed at me. But I did receive a different chair.”

  • The hotel staff was extremely polite, helpful and courteous. The airport shuttle service was EXCELLENT!
  • The condition of the room was below standard. The linens were stained, the bathroom tiles were moldy and the furniture was showing excessive wear.

“The hotel staff and airport shuttle service was EXCELLENT but, unfortunately, that is the only promising feature of this hotel. The room that we stayed in could definitely use an update-the carpet was dingy and old, the bed linens were stained, the furniture had excessive wear and the bathroom tiles and shower were moldy. This hotel is definitely not a 3.5+ hotel.”

“Overall experience was fair. Housekeeping did not have towels or amenities in room upon arrival and I never got a ironing board/iron after repeated requests.”

“There are hidden fees for this hotel, no compliment breakfast, $13 for parking your car. Room is clean and it is not out of expectation for a decent hotel.”

“I would not recommed this hotel for leisure because there is nothing to do. The room was clean but there are no frills and dissappointing decor. It is simply a place to sleep for the night.”

    did not like or enjoy anything about the Crowne Plaza (LAX) Hotel.

“This Hotel is not clean, and has very bad condition furniture. From valet to the housekeeping the staff is not helpful or professional. Crowne Plaza (Lax) is Not in my opinion a 3.5 star level. I would not like/enjoy going back there again.”
