• Staff was friendly and was helpful.
• Didn't like the fact that the charged me for valet parking. There is no self parking available. Why should the guest be punished for their limit parking.

“I didn't like the fact that hey have to charge every guest $15.00 for the parking. I've been to a lot of hotels in LA and didn't have to charge you an arm and a leg for everything. They don't have to charge every guest for parking just because they have limited space.”

• Excellent location, easy access to major freeways.
• Hard to find the turn off, better signs maybe?

“I've stayed here in the past, but this last visit the hotel room was not a clean as I remembered. Some hair and visible debris on the floor, and slugged bathroom floor. Bedding and sink areas immaculate and well organized.”

• Everything you could need in the room.
• Mandatory paid valet parking only.

“Very nice, clean and well maintained. It was absolutely effortless and lightning quick to check in. Although the mandatory paid valet parking was unexpected, the attendants were outstanding.”

• Very attractive. Spacious rooms. Friendly valet service. The free internet cafe was a plus.
• It was kind of hard to find from the road. They need better or more visible signs at the street.

“Great hotel. I wish I could pick this hotel for future stays If I could pick I would definitely pick this Marriot in Los Angeles and the Sheraton at Galleria when I'm in Houston.”

• Very close to airport, very pleasant service, superb room.

“Courtyard Marriott on Century Boulevard is as close to LAX as you can get. Efficient airport shuttle every 15 min, enthusiastic, helpful staff, superb rooms. Free Internet. Valet parking rate is competitive at $15 per night, a good place to leave your car if you are staying overnight before taking a short trip.”

• Great location. Comfortable, clean room. Fairly quiet for being so close to LAX. Free internet.
• Valet parking required ($15).

“If you need to stay near LAX, this hotel is great. My room was large and included a separate area with a table and two business chairs for setting up my laptop. Unlike most hotels, the Courtyard provided an Ethernet cable for free Ethernet; you're also able to get free wireless on a one-day trial. The hotel was fairly quiet, considering its location so close to LAX. I could still hear planes taking off, but the noise wasn't as bad as most hotels in the area. My one major complaint is that they require you to use valet parking, even though you could park and retrieve your car much faster yourself. When I left on Monday morning, there was a long line of people waiting to get their cars. I ended up just asking for my keys and getting my car myself.”

• No stores within walking distance.

• The location was convenient to LAX and the shuttle service was great.
• The hotel was understaffed due to the holiday and you could tell. Housekeeping had not cleaned our room.

“Our hotel room was not cleaned, it had half used bottles of shampoo and conditioners and when I called to have it brought up, we never received it. I would not use this hotel again in the future.”

• Fast check in and clean quite room. All Marriott properties are smoke free!
• Limited parking and cost of parking are high.

“It was nice to wake up so close to lax. Bed was comfortable and room was nice and clean. Very nice for a business traveler with broadband in each room and wifi in lobby.”

• Comforter wasn't so thick that I have to sleep under a sheet only, as with the Lax Marriott.
• No complaint whatsoever.

“It far exceeded our expectations. We were tired and cranky after flying from Ecuador, and the Courtyard made us happy again. I loved the beds with all-white linens and comforters, and I wish I had that bed to sleep in every night.”

• Couldn't see TV from bed very well.
