• The potty humor.

“The men and women who run the Double Tree hotel in El Segundo are filthy degenerate, and I am posting this because I want the hotel inspected and shut down. The staff manager was a pervert.”

• The staff was amazing! And the beds were amazingly comfy!
• Nothing to dislike.

“The staff here was incredibly friendly and helpful (from the check-in clerk to the security guards). Very conveniently located. Very nice room with comfortable bedding, great lighting, nice big windows and those cookies at check-in.”

• We were introduced to the Doubletree chain and signature cookies for the first time.
• The bed/mattress was in poor shape, soft and worn out.

“This was our first stay at a Doubletree hotel and we will likely return, if nothing else, for the warm cookies. The staff was very friendly and the easy to access Internet workstations with a printer made it quick and easy for us to access our updated travel plans.”

• Location, overall cleanliness.
• No self-parking. Valet OVERWHELMED on Sat. a.m.. Had to get a last-minute ride to my meeting & was late (very big problem). Valet taking 30+ min.

“Overall good, but unless they add self-parking I will never recommend it to anyone. And the temp valet staff they hired in did not speak any english; and the manager of valet apparently didn't speak spanish, so that slowed things down further.”

• The beds were amazing! The most comfortable I've ever slept in.
• The staff was not very helpful at all. On numerous occassions they gave me the run around or were rude.

“The best part was the beds, but LAX is kind of out of the way from the rest of LA so the location isn't the most convenient. And the staff was kind of rude to us. The cookies were great.”

• Quiet.
• It said LAX but we were far far away from our family who were all on Century. Most did not have cars.

“The hotel itself was nice, but, it is not LAX proper. All of my family was at the Embassy Suites for a wedding and I was miles away and getting around that area is difficult any time of day. I feel like I was misled. If the price had not been so admirable, I probably would have grieved the issue. I did not get to mingle with my family who I have not seen in years. It was so inconvenient.”

• Airport shuttle, good food, decent location.
• Internet service was very weak. could not run my important software.

“All fine except for the internet service which is important to me. Service available but weak. airport shuttle service at night was not timely which left me tight for time at the airport.”

• Very friendly staff clean rooms.
• Transportation from airport is not timely.

“Nice hotel. Undergoing some renovation in the lobby, bar and restaurant areas. Good service provided by staff. Only negative is the transportation from the airport. When you call they tell you 15-20 minutes and I have waited nearly twice that both times I have stayed at this hotel.”

• Charged for parking in hotel parking lot! Bad Idea. I didnt like being charged at a place I was staying at at all!

• Room decor and cleanliness and free parking.
• Parking was limited.

“This is definitely a business hotel. The locale, the lobby size and eating area are very small. But the hotel is very clean and the decor modern. The rooms are a nice size. My overall experience was very good and I would stay again and recommend this hotel.

• Consistent quality for the last three stays. Close to LAX.
• Can't think of anything.

“Great location to LAX. Very friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of towels. Quiet rooms that are clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds. Wow. This is a great hotel, I've stayed here three different times in the past two weeks. Each stay, the staff and premises maintained consistently great quality. The women at the front desk are real gems. I hope their bosses appreciate their hard work and cheerful spirits.”

“The Renaissance is close to the airport and is growing a bit old. The bar maid was able to make a great Martini on arrival. The room was clean and reasonably appointed.”

• The location. It is very far from major attractions and famous landmarks.

• Courteous staff, nice pool, great food though a little pricey.
• No restaurant around, so had to eat at hotel, food choices could have been better.

“Very convenient for overnight stay in Los Angeles. Shuttle was quick to arrive at the airport after notifying them of my arrival, staff was exceptionally friendly, food was a little pricey but very good, quiet and relaxing atmosphere, would definitely stay again for short overnight stay, far from any LA attractions.”
