“The hotel has 2 wings: a deluxe wing (Wilshire Tower) and the older wing where they put pay in advance guests. The room is ok but the bathroom is tiny, the smallest bathroom I have ever had at a hotel. For the price I paid, it was fine but don't thing you are getting a luxurious room.”

“Rooms were small and cramped. Paint was peeling in places in bathroom and walls were banged up from where furniture had hit them and not been repaired in bedroom. A/c was extremely noisy.”

“This Hotel needs to live up to it's name and reputation that they hav set up for themselves. I felt like I was sleeping in a old motel.”

“We were delighted with the quality of the room for the price. But as far as customer service was concerned, every minor request - can we get a corkscrew, can we get a late checkout, can we get a queen or king bed - were met with a smug, determined, No. So from that point of view the hotel was very disappointing - it felt like a 3 star hotel masquerading as a 5 star, not in order to provide better service, but the better to gouge guests for every extra penny. A nice room, in other words, in a horrible clip joint.”

“Fantastic, romantic and cool spot for adults of any age. Tons of history, glamour and a great location make this a very fun place to stay. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly, the amenities were first-rate and you feel like a VIP when you're there!”

“Excellent hotel recently renovated. Rooms were small but beautifully decorated with first class amenities (Occitan shampoos, etc). Staff was lovely and very responsive. ”

“Very nice hotel from the inside. The outside is very classic and dates back to the original opening of the hotel. The room lobby decor and room was very classy. The front desk staff are not professional and are rather rude on the phone and in person. They always made comments about my booking not directly with them. Called for 10 minutes to have bags brought down to car, no answer at front desk or bell desk. Then they charged my credit card after I left the hotel for the mini bar, which we did not use.”

“The hotel is nice, huge heated pool. we had one complaint and they gave us free breakfast to make the issue right. the only complaint I have is that they charged me 7 dollars to print four pages off the internet.”
