• Well located, luxurious, friendly staff, walking distance to a mall if you want to see a movie or want to shop.
• You have to pay for everything aside from the room - the health club is $20 per visit, the parking is $35 a day.

“Great hotel for business - a bit pricey for extras and you only get the room, I think they should have a health club on site to get so many stars-- and not one you have to pay extra to visit!”

• My room was spotless.
• Parking was expensive, but it is to be expected in Los Angeles.

• Despite having booked through Priceline, the front desk recognized my previous stays and treated me as a VIP.
• Some of the standard rooms can feel cramped and dark. Try to get a room with more windows - ideally a corner.

“Exceptional service from all departments I had contact with. Despite rooms being a little dated, the professional friendliness of the staff and the location are great. If I had the choice; however, I would probably prefer the Hyatt nearby as it is more updated in terms of ambiance, and has an amazing gym connected (fee applies however).”

• LA is such a pretentious city it was refreshing to encounter a down to earth staff.
• Small bathroom

“Feels luxurious, but is unpretentious. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Spacious rooms, but smallish bathroom.”

• Close to Cedar Sinai Hospital.
• Parking fees and gym fees.

“Third time I've stayed here in 6 months, because it is only 3 miles from Cedar Sinai hospital. Love this hotel and it's location to both the hospital and the mall, across the street.”

• Very courteous and attentive staff
• Room was nice, but fairly ordinary and a bit small.

“Just what we needed - a nice place near Beverly Hills and Hollywood. The staff is excellent. From the moment we arrived, they were friendly, helpful, and courteous from the driveway to the registration desk and throughout. No exceptions. The hotel was very nice, and the room, while nice enough, wasn't very spacious. The bed, however, was very comfortable. A good value all in all.”

• The staff made us feel so special and so welcome.

“From the minute we walked up to the desk, they could not do enough for us. They treated us like we were royalty. It was our anniversary and they sent up complementary champagne and chocolate strawberries. They were extremely polite and helpful. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were clean. The staff made it for us though.”

• Staff made us feel welcome with a baby.
• Location is not the nearest to the attractions.

“The hotel was very good with excellent facilities and helpful staff. Extras were all very pricey but the service more than compensates for that. We went with a baby and they did their best to accommodate us by providing a fridge and a microwave on request.”

• The view from the 17th floor, especially during the filming across the street of the "Green Hornet".
• I was looking to stay closer to West Hollywood, but was placed here at Century City.

“Beautiful accommodations and nice restaurant for breakfast. Very appealing front lobby and bar. Although I did not use the pool, the private cabanas are an attraction.”

• Air conditioner doesn't work well. Very humid.

“I stayed, I think, 4 nights in the hotel. One day around 4pm I left my room. I bumped into the maid on the hallway and asked her to clean up my room. She said: sure. Then on the way to the exit I stopped by the front desk and asked them to make sure houskeeping not forget to clean my room. Almost 2 hours later when returned my room was just like as I left it. Called housekeeping, they promised to send somebody immediately. 15 mins later I called them again. They said the maid was on the way. Another 15 mins went by when I decided to do downstairs and talk to the manager on duty. She was apologetic and helped to fix the problem which mustn't ever have occured, but it left bitter taste in my mouth. A prestigeous hotel like this can't afford happenings like mine!Valet parking fee's outrageous.”

“Great bar scene, breakfast food was amazing. Room service was prompt. Pool looked nice and was not overly crowded. Downside was you have to pay $20 to use Equinox gym. But the gym is AMAZING, locker rooms are out of this world!”

• It was beautifully appointed and I felt very welcome and relaxed in botht the public and private spaces.
• Not enough light in the bathroom

“The Hyatt Regency Century Park is delightfully luxurious yet personally welcoming at the same time. This mix is particularly alluring as a business traveler, yet the wading pools near the swimming pool made me wish my 2 year old was with me as well. This for me makes it the best of both worlds.”
