• Staff contact we had was the best.
• Found that the check in clerk said that we were up graded not true.

“Except for the statement in #14 which if we were upgraded, I would have hated to see the room that we would have had if, as the clerk stated, we were not upgraded. Other than that the hotel wasn¿t as much as I expected.”

• The view was great!
• Everything over priced. Showers were horrible!

“View was great, but everything was way over priced. $12 for a whiskey/7up at the bar! Water was just trickling out of the shower - worst I've ever seen.”

• Beautiful hotel, great location, very helpful staff, lovely setting.
• Nothing I didn't like, except the valet parking was a bit pricey.

“Probably one of the nicest hotels in Santa Monica. Beautiful rooms, great cocktail lounge and outdoor restaurant. Very helpful staff. Nice robes. Had everything. I looked at the bungalows and would love to go back and stay there.”

• The location is great and most of the service was excellent.
• The checkout experience was very poor and I was treated disrespectfully.

“I very much like the Fairmont Hotel but there were two individuals that were involved with the checkout experience who were rude and defensive. Unfortunately, that colored what had been a great stay.”

• It has a great location and beautiful grounds.
• Overpriced food.

“We had an ocean tower room with great views of the beach and the pool and gardens. As with many hotels in this class, the food is good, but overpriced. However, there are many restaurants within walking distance.”
