• The beds were very hard.

• Cheap and clean.
• Remote location, packed parking lot, taciturn night desk clerk.

“We picked the Santa Clarita Motel because it was a relatively inexpensive place to spend a night during a long trip by car. We got there after dark and left midmorning; there are no sights to see, no view, no particular amenities. On the other hand, the room was clean, the water was piping hot, there was cable, a remote, a good mattress, and a refrigerator. As a place to crash, it worked well. The air conditioner kept the room cool and the kids slept through the night.”

• The room was fine. The location was awful!!!
• The location, also absolutely no amenities.

“The room was actually fine but the location is very poor. In a really bad part of town. I did not feel safe although I had an uneventful stay. There are no amenities whatsoever. I would not recommend this motel and would never stay there again. The clerk was helpful and gave me good directions to a restaurant.”

• It has been completely remodeled since the first time we stayed there three years ago. It is a very clean motel.
• We travel with a small dog. This motel does not allow even small pets in the rooms.

“We have stayed at the Santa Clarita Motel on our visits to California for the last three years. It has been completely remodeled since our first stay. It is very clean, has very comfortable beds, marble showers and bathroom floors. The price is very reasonable compared to the other motels in the general area. Our only complaint is that they don't allow small pets.”
