  • Absolutely nothing, maybe location.
  • Filthy, old, stinks.

“This hotel was comp to a very old motel 6, only really dirty!”

  • Quiet.

“Accommodating staff, late checkout, hot tub and was quiet.”

  • Too many young single males.

“Nice entrance. Fancy. However, we were placed as far away from the entrance as you could get. The low rent rooms, probably. Noisy with a lot of young guys going through male bonding and some young women in tight-fitting clothes. The bed gave me a good backache which lasted a half-day thereafter. The stairway hall was shabby. A good choice over staying at Motel 6.”

  • Food in restaurant was only OK ( Lunch).

“Overall very good.”

  • The location was beautiful and the hotel had a villa type feel.
  • The rooms were a little small and there were no child friendly channels like Nick or Disney.

“ I really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Vista. My biggest complaint was no coffee cups by the coffee pot, which was remedied right away. I would have liked a little more room with maybe a table and two chairs rather than the writing desk. The in room refrigerator and microwave was a huge plus for a traveler with children. The one thing that was lacking for us were child friendly channels on the television, like Nick or Disney. That's a must for this family! ”

“Room and halls smelled of old smoke. We were in a non smokeing room. Sheets on my bed were so old that the threads were seperating.”

  • Hotel had all the amenities needed for a light traveler like me. I didn't have to pack all the stuff that otherwise would have been needed.

“This is an excellent hotel choice for the location.”

  • Good handicap accessibility.
  • No table (except coffee table and desk) in the room. Couch did not convert to bed.

“Very nice room with plantation shutters at the windows - light and bright. Very large bathroom and easily wheel chair accessible. If separate beds are desired, the couch should be convertible to bed. In fact the couch is most uncomfortable to sit on too. Nice size refrigerator. Fresh basket of apples on the lobby counter every day was nice. After 11 days, I had to vacate for 4 because no room was available. I have now brought my elderly mother back to wait for authorization to put her into a nursing home.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[10]

  • Location was convenient/pillows and bed comfortable but small.
  • Small double beds/not queen/water didn't drain in sink/tub.

“Overall, the hotel was nice enough that I'd stay again. Staff was friendly. Location was close to everything, even a malls, which was nice. My only issue was I could only get a room with 2 beds and they were double beds.”

  • Comfortable, friendly, great staff, very peaceful and quiet.
  • Sometimes if you return in the evening hard to find a parking space due to the sports bar.

“We enjoyed our stay, could be a 5 star hotel after the maintenance is finished, very peaceful and user friendly excellent pool/spa and exercise equipment, very friendly and helpful staff.”

  • It appeared that they had various set ups for the internet although we did not use it.
  • Hotel room, bathroom, and beds.

“Don't waste your time if your seeking a 3 star hotel. Did not have our standard king room, had to accept 2 beds. Long walk from parking to room.”

  • Quiet.
  • Bathrooms need venting.

“Hotel is well kept up. Beautiful entrance and lobby area. Rooms are very nicely furnished, clean and generally quiet. The staff does a great job of meeting you needs. Room service delivers very quickly. Only complaint is the bathrooms lacking venting. Easily solved by propping door open.”

  • Room was excellent.
  • Should have asked for view over the pool when I called to confirm.

“Excellent room accommodations, friendly staff. When staff gets very busy it is hard to communicate over the phone with them.”

  • Common areas were nice.
  • Rooms smelled bad.

“The first room smelled like a cigarette bar and the furniture was broken, we were moved to another room that smelled better but the door wouldn't lock. So maintenance was called they fixed the door but we were delayed hour. Hotel was in poor condition overall and not to expectations of a 3-star.”

  • Clean and comfortable.

“The hotel was very nice. It was some what away from major tourist destinations. Also it did not allow us to eat the complimentary breakfast.”

  • Staff was friendly.
  • Hotel was not secure. There were people hanging out in the parking lot.

“Hotel was clean, but it is outdated, no wireless connection in room (you have to go downstairs to use wireless). There was not an Ethernet cord in the room. I did not feel 100% secure. There were people hanging out in the parking lot (I have never seen this before at any hotel). Common doors were not secured. Anyone can walk into the hotel as well as pool area. I was very unhappy with this situation.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[4] • Location:[9]

  • Good location.
  • Need's updating and good cleaning. Staff was lazy.

“I would recommend this hotel only for people with out kids and who will spend very little time in the space. Not family friendly nor even attractive. Very poorly placed elevators and poor air quality.”

  • The location.
  • Cheap - wallpaper peeling off walls, bathroom light was yellow/dim.

“The exterior and location were great - pleasing to look at and right across the street from shopping at a large outdoor mall. The lobby was nice as well - with flowers, a nice light an airy feel, and a basket of apples for guests to enjoy. The staff was friendly enough as well. The room, however, was rather disappointing. It did have a refrigerator and a microwave and a king size bed, which were nice, but the largest distraction from these amenities was the peeling wallpaper (about 5 inches hanging off 2 of the walls) in one of the room's corners. My husband and I also woke up with bug bites, which made three nights of sleep slightly difficult. However, because of the location, we would probably stay there again.”
