• Location. The property is very lovely.
• The staff was very discourteous Especially since we did nothing wrong.

“We have known about this hotel for quite some time and finally thought we would come down to see how it is for a romantic getaway weekend. Once we entered the lobby to check in, we were treated so poorly that the woman (with the accent) at the front desk made my fiancee cry out of frustration and sadness that this woman caused. Overall, the property is indeed lovely. The rooms are rustic and beautiful, but the management/staff is horribly behind-the-times and needs high-quality customer service training immediately if they would like to compete with the nearby Four Seasons.”

• For us, it has a special place - we had our wedding at this hotel.

“We have always been fond of the Westlake Inn - we had our wedding there 11 years ago. It is a well-maintained, family friendly, romantic place to stay!”

• Great bed.
• Other guests.

“The room was comfortable with high ceiling, huge comfortable bed and lots of pillows. Nice layout of room and amenities. Nice bathtub and shower was excellent. Could have used more coffee, but Starbucks wasn't too far away.”

• Great large screen HDTV screen.
• I saw a bug in the room and the lighting was poor.

“This is hotel that has a resort venue. It is less applicable for business travel. However, the setting is tropical California and could be good for a romantic liaison or family holiday.”
