• Easy to find, close to restaurants. The bed was comfortable.
• The room had a stale smell to it and the air conditioning is noisy.

“Our room was on the fourth floor and we got more freeway noise as a result. However the hotel is very clean, parking is convenient and the staff was helpful and friendly.”

• Room was very clean, beds were comfortable, staffs was very friendly.
• The breakfast is not completely free, they only give $5 certificate.

“The hotel is right next to the 101 high way, but the staff was able to help me select a quite room. The room was very nice, the bathroom was very clean. Beds were comfortable too. Free DVD movies to watch. For traveler, it is a very good to stay and go.”

• Nice clean room with comfortable beds.
• Not exactly close to the beach, but we knew that.

“We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and the beds were great. I loved the courtyard as a quiet place to hang out and read.”

• Bathroom could have been better-No safety hand rails in the bathtub.

“The hotel ground was clean, room was clean. Con's-Hotel map was not understandable, the Bathroom was small, not senior friendly (no hand rails in shower, no hand held shower, no safety strips in bath tub).”

• Wonderful lighting fixtures in the room, with mica shades!
• Fuddy-duddy front desk receptionist interrupted our overpriced room service dinner with annoying phone calls, not comprehending "do not disturb!

“The room was very nice and could have been romantic if we had not been disturbed by the front desk receptionist during our very costly room-service dinner. Du-Pars were very over priced for coffee-shop food and they messed up on simple things. Pool and Jacuzzi were tepid and a bit dirty. But the room itself was very nice, especially for the price. Clean room and linens. (No water pressure.) Wonderful video selection.”

• Location good for my trip.
• Pillows foam type, don't form to head well.

“Overall a very good stay. Close to Getty Villa where we went following day. Great steak house nearby for dinner on my 50th Birthday. Rooms clean and a very calm atmosphere.”

• Courtyard area was beautiful, library was nice, free movie rental.
• Restaurant was dingy, they were out of several items including tuna and chicken, food terrible.

“Good location, near freeway and mall. Staff friendly, nice courtyard and library. Adjoining restaurant poor quality. They were out of tuna and chicken-carpet was stained, service was poor, food was terrible.”

• I appreciated the free DVDs and DVD players in each room.
• The restaurant attached to the hotel did not offer room service.

“I will definitely stay there again! Friendly and cozy, we received excellent care while staying at this hotel. The hotel was clean and sparkling and all the fixtures (plumbing, windows etc.) worked fine. The DVD player in the room coupled with the free DVD rentals from the front desk was an added bonus. This hotel was also wonderfully situated from getting to all the malls, tourist attractions, restaurants. All in all a WONDERFUL experience!”

• Needs some serious updating if they are going to charge as much as they do.

“Nice lobby and sitting area. The room itself was, well, drab and old looking. The bathroom pipes rattled, too. I will say this: The place was very clean.”

• The common areas were not very attractive.

“This hotel is conveniently located and good for business travelers. I did not feel it to be a very attractive hotel though and not very 'romantic' or luxurious. The room itself was nicer than the outside areas but I wouldn't give this hotel any more than 2 stars. The staff was nice but I felt it a bit overpriced.”

• Nothing, it was great, really exceeded my expectations which were very low based on the brand.

• First time Ive stayed at a hotel and the room was nicer than the lobby.
