• Very attractive entrance/lobby. The rooms were spacious and clean.
• We wished it had an outdoor pool.

• Pool opened early.
• Shower was slippery; I fell

“Fine hotel for anyone needing to stay in Bakersfield. Not to near the freeway that you have to hear the traffic all night. Room had a view of an RV storage lot. I suppose that's a plus in Bakersfield. Desk staff was friendly and helpful.”

“Great place to stay if you are in Bakersfield, it is centrally located and just off the freeway, but not too close that you can hear traffic. Accommodations are very clean and the staff is very professional.”

“Non smoking room was really a non smoking room. Maid service was very quick and prompt. Check out was very fast and easy. Would stay there again if given the chance.”

• Business center with fax, high speed internet, fax, copy machine
• I wish the pool was outdoors, and that there was complimentary continental breakfast- or at least a less expensive breakfast buffet.

“This hotel was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom was spacious with good lighting. The bed was absolutely heavenly- so comfortable! Pool and jacuzzi were clean and nice to swim in. Free business center was excellent.”

“I can honestly say, that this was the most comfortable 2 night stay, I have ever had. The bed was very comfortable, I especially liked the quality of pillows, they were just the right size for the bed. Sometimes the bed is just too big for the tiny pillows you get at other hotels. In fact, I want to own, or purchase pillows of that quality for myself, for my own comfort. Could you tell me what kind of pillows you purchase for your quests, and where I could buy at least 4 pillows of that same quality? I know, this seems silly, but it is very important for my neck. Sometimes, I wake up with a stiff neck because the pillows are not comfortable or they are too flat, not enough fluff. When I was there, the water heater system broke, so I had to shower with cold water, but it wasn't too bad, z little cold but I managed. I really enjoyed my stay, my bed was the most comfortable and I really value that quality.”

“My recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Bakersfield in Bakersfield, CA. was very pleasant. The desk staff were friendly, courteous and offered information and help beyond that of most hotels I've stayed in. This is a brand new hotel (opened April 2004), and is in perfect condition. The pool, gym and business center were very guest friendly. There is plenty of free parking and a lot fine restaurants in the area. The room was quiet, spotless and very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, clean and had a roomy, efficient shower.”
