• I don't like a pull out sofa-bed for my kids to sleep on.

“I don't think this is a 3 or 3.5 star hotel. People can see which room you enter from the parking lot, and I don't think that's safe traveling with 2 little girls.”

• Full kitchen included.
• Pool was not heated, far from room, not good insulation.

“Did not deserve the Marriott name. The hotel was serviceable but I paid too much to get too little. My husband and I did not get a good night's sleep Which impacted our whole vacation. When we heard at first we got a Marriott hotel, we were happy. Now we don't have the same feeling as we did before.”

• Extras like breakfast, cocktail hour etc.
• Buildings not user friendly to find.

“We were pleasantly surprised by the room and the extras provided. The full breakfast and the cocktail hour were very good! The staff was very welcoming upon arrival and during our stay. They need to renumber the buildings or do something to make locations easy to find.”

• Full kitchen & lots of water pressure for showers.
• Could hear noises upstairs somewhat in evening, but not bad.

“Great experience. Loved poolside close, tennis courts, just facilities overall. Especially loved kitchen in room as we are nutritarians and have preferences to eating.”

• Strawberry water in the front lobby, excellent breakfast buffet, and apartment feel of hotel room.
• The funky smell of fish or trash that permeated the grounds the 1st day we were there.

“Excellent customer service and convenient location with large rooms that felt more like apartments.”

• Good location.
• Had to fold out bed # 2, not enough bedding!

“The fact that we had two bed was overshadowed by the fact that one of them was a fold down couch! There was not enough bedding, etc. Not my idea of comfort.”

• Very spacious, well equipped and clean.
• Lack of amenities such as a swimming pool.

“Much more of a temporary apartment community than a hotel, the staff were extraordinarily accommodating and the room was enormous, equipped with a full kitchen leading to an incredibly convenient and enjoyable trip.”

• It was located on a golf course.
• Older hotel, room had peculiar smell. Door didn't lock properly - hard to close tightly.

“Lovely location on golf course. Older hotel but clean. Had good kitchen amenities! Very friendly staff.”

• I liked everything about this hotel.
• The only thing that I did not like was that they did not serve bacon for the breakfast buffet.

“The hotel was awesome. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. It lacks nothing in accommodations. Everything is there for your convenience. The only sad thing I missed was having no bacon for breakfast.”

• Excellent value in quiet, attractive location. Lovely breakfast and managers reception an added bonus.
• Some fittings were a little tired, but a minor complaint.

“Excellent facilities, especially for family groups, due to large penthouse suites. The breakfasts had a wide variety of foods, and the managers receptions could almost (and in many cases did) double for dinner. The pool and grounds were very attractive and I did not hear any sounds from the other rooms. Quiet, brilliant value and great service. Highly recommend.”

• It looked as if it were a converted apartment complex.

• Because we were in a downstairs room the noise of the stairs was bad.

“This is a nice hotel. We would plan to stay there again if the price was lower.”

• Full kitchen, great bedding, high speed.
• Had fireplace avail at same price and found out after.

“If this was in a higher rated neighborhood it would have been classified 3 or 4 star, not 2 1/2. Everything was great. Being allowed to select preferences in a hotel like kitchenette or fireplace or internet might give an overall higher satisfaction rating.”

• 1 bed, 1 sofa bed instead of 2 queen beds.

• The suite was clean, cozy, full on kitchen with dishes, fireplace.
• The only negative was the beds were too hard.

“This hotel is within 2 miles from major shopping, beaches. Parking was very convenient. We had a 2 queen suite with 2 full bathrooms which made it very nice for the family. They served hot breakfast in the main lobby every morning included. Plus they had afternoon appetizer style foods for gratis. (included also.) The hotel was originally built for the Raiders to live and practice there pre season. Every room has fireplace and full kitchen. Ours was a loft plus bedroom and a sleeper sofa. The rooms are built around the golf course. I could not get two rooms at any other hotel cheaper. This was comfortable for my two grown kids and my hubby and self. I would definitely use them again. But maybe ask for a foam topper for the bed. Who knows, maybe most people like firm mattresses, but that was the only negative for me was the firmness of the mattress. But the weather was great; the ocean was great and did not have to travel too far to get anywhere. The hotel also has a free shuttle to go anywhere within 5 miles from the hotel. You can get some serious shopping done without starting your car or even to the harbor or beach for free. I personally did not use it for this trip, but it is a good ideal. PS I used to live in that area.”
