“The room and lobby were nice but upon arriving back to the hotel that evening at about 9 pm the front desk was already closed for the evening and the air conditioning unit in our room did not work nor did the phone in our room. The water pressure in the shower was very poor as well. I would probably not stay at this hotel again.”

“The Eagle in was a beautiful location! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. My Husband and I went for our anniversary in August. Our only major drawback was the fact that none of the rooms have AC. The hotel staff will kindly bring you a fan for your room and ice if you need. Only sleeping with the windows open morning to night, you're woken up by the gardeners, trash trucks and cars outside. We had a great time, again the only issues that snowballed, were because there was no AC. I would recommend this hotel for a lovely stay, perhaps in the cooler months.”

“Our room was not air conditioned. Only some rooms are air conditioned according to the staff. The rooms were small but clean. The water had an odor that spread through the room. The continental breakfast was great. Overall, very overpriced, but all hotels in SB are too high.”

“We were unfortunate enough to wake up the next morning to construction at 7:00 am that sounded like one of our walls was about to cave in. I quickly got dressed and went outside to see what was happening and found a construction worker literally drilling large holes into one of our walls. This was supposed to be our little get-away, which wasn't scheduled to include early morning construction. When we asked the manager (Paul Bullock) for a refund of our stay, since they had not forewarned us of the construction or provided the service we had paid for, he was incredibly rude and actually yelled at us in front of several other guests, who had also complained about the construction. Mr. Bullock called us "inconsiderate" and "rude" and refused to refund our money. We contested this charge with our credit card company, claiming we knew there was construction and that the workers started after 8:15. Now, I know they may not still have construction issues, but I would sincerely hope that you would not choose to support a hotel with this kind of attitude towards its customers. There are many lovely hotels nearby with the same (or better) rates that won't treat people poorly and make them feel bad. Please consider taking your business elsewhere, as they obviously don't value it at the Eagle Inn.”
