• Dirty bathroom, small room, did not feel clean.

• A pleasant and comfortable stay in the heart of Santa Barbara.
• No complaints.

“The hotel is older, but well-kept and maintained. The beds are super comfortable and you can't beat having a free breakfast! There's a Jacuzzi to soak in also a plus. Beautiful Pershing Park is across the street and the ocean is just a couple blocks away. For the money, it's well worth the stay.”

• The location was perfect.
• Rooms were pretty small.

“Overall, it was a great room for the money. The location was perfect, short walk to both State Street and the water. The rooms weren't anything fancy but they did have a refrigerator which was nice and they were clean.”

• It accommodated all five of us in one room; very important.
• The guy said I hadn't put down that I had three extra people so I was charged $5 for each additional.

• The room smelled like old smoke even though it was non smoking.

“We had a very pleasant stay here. It was very close to where we needed to be. The staff was friendly and it was very quite. It is an older facility, but the price was right!”

• Not quite a romantic spot, but close to the Wharf, and walking distance to several Downtown hotspots.
• No pool and had too much a feel of being a road motel.

“The staff was friendly enough, and seemed to care for their property- which I find rare with franchised chain hotels. The room was clean but small and the location was fantastic for the low, affordable price.”

• The front desk service was rude. Very short and not very friendly.

“For a 105 dollars a night. This was not worth it. The front desk manager was not nice at all. He didn't even smile or ask how we were doing or anything like that. I am pretty disappointed. That was service was sad and bad.”

• Location, value, and comfort are outstanding here. You can't beat it for the price.
• The continental breakfast makes 7-11 look like gourmet.

“Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for those that are on a budget and are still looking for a great spot near the Santa Barbara pier and Marina. Although you don't get the ocean view, it's all located with in a block's length. The neighborhood and landscape are quite and nicely manicured. A real treat is the hot tub located outside. It's small but a great way to relax after you've been out exploring this amazing city. Also, our room, in particular, was accommodating 2 couples and actually had two separate rooms with a privacy door. The hotel is clean and simple, with all the basic necessities you just can't beat the price for what you get. Don't plan on eating breakfast there. It's mostly preservative filled prepackaged sweets like muffins, cinnamon buns, cereal bars, and scones that are more like a chocolate chip cookie.”

• The staff was very helpful and suggested local restaurants and malls to us.
• I wish I could have stayed longer than one night.

• Great location, less than a mile from many activities.
• Our room was located right on a fairly busy street.

“Good place to stay if you are not spending much time in the room. Everything to expect of a motel, nothing more, nothing less. The best part is the location, within walking distance to the Harbor, Stern's Warf, State St., etc”

“Nice location near the beach. Rooms are small but clean, they have everything you need. Staff is friendly- they let us check in early. Good parking. A lot of homeless people in the park across the street but it didn¿t seem like a bad area- I think there are just a lot of homeless in Santa Barbara in general.”

• The location is excellent in regard to local attractions.
• The queen bed accommodations and bath are very small.
