“I was totally disappointed with this hotel. The price charged was outrageous for the quality of the accommodations. Rooms were not well kept, they were sparsely furnished, and the housekeeping staff camped outside our room early in the morning loading up their carts and having some loud conversation. The window shades were filthy and rather shabby. They didn't work very well at all. We did get moved to another room the second night, but there was a faint odor of sewage that came up through the vanity sink every time you ran water down the sink. Pretty gross when you're brushing your teeth. I'm still suffering the wrath of my family for having them stay in this dump.”

“I would use this hotel again for short, business events, and not for vacation.”

“Friendly staff, great continental breakfast. The hotel was farther from the activities on State Street than we wanted, but overall was nice. The price was acceptable, but I felt a bit overpriced.”

“Don't get looped into this hotel unless you are solo and just need to flop for the night. Don't upgrade to the "deluxe" room- what a joke- unless you have a kid or 2, you don't want to be bothered by (they won't care that it is a cubicle, only that it has a small TV for them.). My blinds were broken and I could not shut them- it took an hour for maintenance to come- good thing I'm not shy!”

“I was seeking a 1 night stay in a hotel convenient to UCSB. This hotel met that expectation. I can't remember if it was a 2 or 3 star rated establishment, but which ever, it was a bit dated. Clean but old. I paid $119.00 for a Friday night stay in September. The price should have been $99.00. Plastic glasses only, plastic utensils for breakfast, yuck!!”

“I would recommend it for convenience and price only. The "restaurant" was a joke unless you love noisy bars which offer hamburgers, French fries, etc. as their cuisine. The breakfast wasn't bad. AC was so noisy we had to shut it off and the fan also made strange noises and we were afraid to use it so we suffered from heat. I'd never stay there again or allow my daughter to stay there.”
