“I absolutely love this hotel. Even though its not "downtown" its a short distance from downtown but honestly if it wasn't for my friends wanting to go downtown I would have stayed at this hotel all night. They have bowling 24hrs and fun bars to lounge at.”

“We were on our way to Vegas and needed a place for a early flight. Check in was fast and easy, room was great, and had an easy ride to and from airport.”

“All of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The common areas are clean and have a good ventilation system to remove cigarette smoke. Food service was very good.”

“I feel we were given a room (6th floor) based on the price we had paid. We checked in early (2:30pm) and were told there were only 3 rooms to choose from.”

“Hotel tried to charge a resort $10 resort fee, but did waive the charges after a long discussion. The resort fee was for WiFi, bottled water, and two other things which I forget at the moment, which should have been standard.”

“Everything is good except there is a hidden charge of $10.00 per person for staying at that hotel because it is a resort. if i have choice,
I rather get another hotel for what
I paid for with Priceline instead of paying an extra costs that i did not have any clue of.”

“This hotel is horrific. The rooms are dirty (mold in tubs), outdated decor, rude staff, etc.”

“The Summit rooms in the hotel were beautiful! Very modern and new with a fantastic marble bathroom and really large shower! The beds were very comfortable with ample pillows and and over sized fluffy towels. Free valet parking was very fast and friendly.”

“The hotel itself is a nice enough hotel. The Summit part of the resort is remarkably wonderful. The hotel was very poor, rooms had mold in showers, no coffee maker, rooms smelled old and musty, even the shampoo and soap were poor quality, no lotion, nothing but shampoo and soap the equivalent of old Motel 6 quality. No fridge, no nothing, just two beds (which were okay).”

“The hotel provided a good value through Priceline. Even though the hotel made a mistake in allowing this reservation to be made because it was a special weekend in Reno with August activities, they honored my reservation and gave me a very fine room.”

“When I arrived there were two clerks behind the counter. When it was my turn the available clerk said she was on break and I would have to wait for the only other clerk. When I was finally helped the clerk said that the king bed I had reserved was unavailable and I would have to take a room with doubles. Then he said there is a mandatory resort fee. I did not think this surprise fee was fair so I asked to speak to the manager on duty. He said if I did not want to pay the resort fee he would cancel the reservation, but I would not get a refund. I really had no choice then. I was given a room in the lower quality section of the hotel. There were no amenities to speak of us only a bottle of shampoo and a bar of soap. The room had a funny smell when I walked in, as did the linens. At night the room was very noisy with kids running up and down the hall until 2 a.m. whenever anyone left their room the door would slam shut behind them. Since the walls were so thin this was very jarring and caused me to wake up several times during the night. The room I was given faced the direction that the sun rises. The drapes had a gap at the top of the window and were work to the point of having holes in the light blocking insulation, so that when the sun rose the room became to bright to sleep. This is great if you want to wake up early, not so much if you are trying to get some sleep after being woken by running kids and slamming doors. The best thing about the stay was the easy video checkout. After this experience I wanted to leave as soon as possible.”

“This hotel's location is about 2 miles from Reno downtown. The room was large, but he carpet was stained, and the tub moldy. The maid did not always leave toiletries, towels and tissues in the room. I did not like the $5 resort fee that was an additional charge.”
