“Everything is good except there is a hidden charge of $10.00 per person for staying at that hotel because it is a resort. if i have choice,
I rather get another hotel for what
I paid for with Priceline instead of paying an extra costs that i did not have any clue of.”

“The hotel provided a good value through Priceline. Even though the hotel made a mistake in allowing this reservation to be made because it was a special weekend in Reno with August activities, they honored my reservation and gave me a very fine room.”

“When I arrived there were two clerks behind the counter. When it was my turn the available clerk said she was on break and I would have to wait for the only other clerk. When I was finally helped the clerk said that the king bed I had reserved was unavailable and I would have to take a room with doubles. Then he said there is a mandatory resort fee. I did not think this surprise fee was fair so I asked to speak to the manager on duty. He said if I did not want to pay the resort fee he would cancel the reservation, but I would not get a refund. I really had no choice then. I was given a room in the lower quality section of the hotel. There were no amenities to speak of us only a bottle of shampoo and a bar of soap. The room had a funny smell when I walked in, as did the linens. At night the room was very noisy with kids running up and down the hall until 2 a.m. whenever anyone left their room the door would slam shut behind them. Since the walls were so thin this was very jarring and caused me to wake up several times during the night. The room I was given faced the direction that the sun rises. The drapes had a gap at the top of the window and were work to the point of having holes in the light blocking insulation, so that when the sun rose the room became to bright to sleep. This is great if you want to wake up early, not so much if you are trying to get some sleep after being woken by running kids and slamming doors. The best thing about the stay was the easy video checkout. After this experience I wanted to leave as soon as possible.”

“This hotel's location is about 2 miles from Reno downtown. The room was large, but he carpet was stained, and the tub moldy. The maid did not always leave toiletries, towels and tissues in the room. I did not like the $5 resort fee that was an additional charge.”

“I had a good experience at this hotel. My dad was impressed and I got the room for a cheap amount on Priceline. The front desk staff was very friendly and I was checked in quickly. My only turn off, was there really wasn't a cheap quick place to grab a bite to eat. Also, the pool was out of order. My kids were disappointed.”

“Good location. Friendly front desk and bellman. They did give us a dirty room at first and did nothing to compensate us for that. I like that there is a Starbucks in this hotel.”

“This Casino Hotel and Resort is just the right mix of being family and adult friendly. They have a lot of different activities from a Movie Theatre, Golf Range, Shops, Restaraunts, Spa, Meeting Rooms, Casino and Sportsbook. I really like the fact that you could catch a Free shuttle ride to either Northstar or Squaw Valley from the Hotel.”

“The Grand Sierra Resort is a hotel with fun for everyone in the family. Anywhere from bowling to movies to casino. It satisfied all the needs of my wife my children and me. The buffet and other restaurants were priced right with very good food.
